      The reason why we will still have sand on our roads is because 80 or 90 per cent of our roads are not constructed

    • @sidex4
      @sidex4 2 роки тому

      It doesn't cost too much to construct these community roads that are bringing this sand into the main roads....but they won't still do it.....and my observation with some eastern states, they don't keep people to sweep the roads.....
      It would have been another means of employment for people.

    Kudos brother! You did a great job. I was born and raised in Awka. Watching from California. I know this roads very well. This road has taken Anambra States Governors more than 9 years to construct. Yet, it was only one direction or lane had been completed.
    In California, this road will not take a month, both sides will be completely completed with solid and outstanding conditions.
    Common development like roads, electricity, water, and so forth government should provide for her citizens, but the government of Nigeria or Anambra State will not do it.
    Mr Peter always telling us how much he saved in Anambra State reserves. Why not build factories and employ many graduates without a job. Why not construct this particular road.
    The truth is that I found out that we are in modern slavery in Africa because of deep rooted wickedness in the hearts of the leadership of Africans.
    In California, poorest city roads will be well constructed and always maintained by parching and filling up any potholes immediately it appears on the roads.

    • @autumn_b905
      @autumn_b905 2 роки тому +5

      I agree. I am from NYC and the poorest areas have decent roads. We have snow and ice which corrode the roads each year but the city government fill the holes yearly.
      Although I feel this road is better than what I've experienced while visiting Nigeria, I know this would be below average in the states. I am really disappointed in Nigerian government because as wealthy as the country is, there is no explanation for the country as whole especially the infrastructure to be in such a deplorable condition in 2022. This would be acceptable in 1980s. I have been to many countries where their only resource is tourism, and they have better roads and opportunities to earn money than nigeria.
      I know I sound spoiled, but I don't think my expectations are too high for nigeria because this country has wealth. The politicians are just so greedy, they honestly believe that money belongs to them. I hope the 2023 elections bring some hope to nigeria.

      @@chidieberechidiebere5577 Mr Peter Obi tried, even though I espect a lot more from him. He is an economist and studied abroad, so he should understand the means of production. He should used that money reserve he left while leaving office to build industries and create jobs. The profits from those jobs would have given Anambra State ten times profits than that money lying dormant in the bank. Even that money has been stolen by the thief and wicked soul Obiano.

    This road is better than many other roads I've seen in nigeria. Looks like they plan to expand the road to make it 2 lanes going each direction. this road was intended to be one way looking at the lane markings and arrows. Imo, the road is dangerous because of the 2 way traffic on a road intended to be one-way. There's even street lights in some areas, which is impressive for Nigerian roads. I hope that this becomes standard for ALL roads in nigeria.

    The roads are not up to standard, a lot needs to be done!
    Our leaders should put deep wickedness aside and serve their citizens by giving them standard amenities and other services.
    Thank you so much brother for this video.
    Greatest thing Jesus Christ did for me is to take me out of Nigeria, Anambra State as well.

      I agree with you 💯 that our leaders should do better.
      You shouldn't be so glad that you left the country, one way or the other negativity in the country may still affect you, we all need to fix this country together. Thank you

    Buhari has really done a lot in south east. The 16years of PDP, the beloved party of Igbos was a waste. We have Enugu Port Harcourt
    Onitsha Enugu and the mother of all projects, SECOND NIGER BRIDGE aka MUHAMMADU BUHARI BRIDGE
