Life saver bud. The manual was no help. Found the blown fuse thanks to your detailed description. For those wondering how to remove the flat, flush headed fuse, I did so with a small flat head driver. Pry one edge up carefully enough to get a hold of it and wiggle it out.
If both your power outlets and interior lights go out the Problem Is F13 on the BCM Fuse box to the left of the steering wheel this one sends power to the R2 Relay on the fuse box he's refering to on this video.
Keep some tweezers handy in your van to help remove those bladed fuses, they're a nightmare if not impossible to remove with your fingers, especially if they're on the chunkier side 😂.
Ford all that work for replacement 1 fuse for cigarette lighter and as awkward places as anything to get the fuses out overkill ! let's return to simplicity in motor vehicles no one wants this type of forward technology as it's really backwards
I had a water pump and spark plugs replaced in my 2015 transit connect 2.5 with 105, 000 miles They had some issues getting power from battery to restart the van, something wasn't connected properly. I Drove away happy until I noticed I had no power to electronic windows and locks on passenger side a few days later. Of course I'm to blame and I need to pay to have it fixed. Should this/could this be a fuse? Windows worked perfect before this incident...
Got a break in one of the wires in my drivers door wiring loom for the window and now the fuse must have blown as the switch isnt even clicking or illuminating. Found the location of the j type fuse under the steering column but you'd need to be a contortionist to get at it. What you playing at Ford ffs!
QUESTION.... I installed custom USB C and 3.0 charging cigarette outlets in my 15 transit and all was working just fine just a few days ago. Now I just tried to charge my phone and none of the outlets are getting power in addition to the map dome lamps......What fuse could be the culprit?? I do not know why both the map lights AND the outlets are not working. Any help would be great
@@jerseypilot83 thank you! Any memory of it being one of the ones next to/under the steering wheel, or the hard to get to ones under the seat (where you have to remove the seat/batteries)?

@@TheGoodGodfrey I really don’t know I forget it was 3 years ago… but I BELEIVE it was a fuse 15a or something like that
