This is incredible!! I can't believe I'm just seeing it now. I never noticed before how The Suitcase (that one suitcase) clicking sounds like gunshots. And something about the way you placed it made it so sickening. You really just created some super interesting parallels all throughout this video. Like showing Roger's face with the lyrics "nowhere to hide" somehow had more emotional impact than showing his death there, because that specific moment you captured with his face had all the fear preceding his death. But then it switches to Will, and for Will no longer hiding is liberating, so it's like the opposite of the emotional tone of what was happening to Roger. Having Adele's death overlaid by Lyra talking about her parent's death was just so unexpected. And then having so many Lee scenes throughout really fit well with the genre of the song. It really feels like this entire story is being observed by Lee. Having Lyra and Lord Asriel's "you shall be as gods knowing good and--Dust" and showing the Magisterium congregation--that was pure genius!

thank you! it's a series but it is based on the novels written by Philip Pullman which includes also "the golden compass". The story of the first season goes along with the story of the golden compass, the second season with the story of the second book "the subtle knife". And btw if you know the movie and even liked it, I would really recommend you the series, because it is in my opinion so much better than the movie and it follows much more the storyline of the books than the movie does! :D
