Thanks again Kenny. I’ve visited the big shovel before. It was part of the strip mining era in Kansas. It’s huge! Really looking forward to this project. Glad you enjoyed the video.
I totally agree. Often we seem to think we will see the beauty as we go about our day. I think to really enjoy we must be intentional. We must breathe it in! Thank you.
Nice shots, Dan. The new gimble looks strong. Hopefully, it lasts for ya. The barn owl will be nice. I hope the owl is sitting in the barn because that will make for a nice shot.
Great post Dan! Love your shots of the birds. I know you have the zoom on the camera. What are you using for your video. The video clips are excellent also.
Thanks Ken! For most of the video, I use my OSMO Action 3. I shoot in Cinetone and use a LUT for color grading. For the short clips (e.g. the Eagle flight and hawk, and the Timelapse) I use my Sony a6700 camera.
Those are some amazing captures, Danny.
Big Brutus, that should be interesting.

Great shots Dan. So much beauty all around us. It's too bad more people don't slow down enough to breath it in. Hope you're doing well.

Thanks Kenny! Yes, the owl in the barn is the photo that I’m hoping for. Of course, finding any owl would be amazing. All is gravy after that. 🤣
