I prefer wet food here in England but I wonder if the dry is better there. It doesn't go off in the heat of the day and doesn't attract flies. I was pleased to see that there is a good quantity of water out.

I was merely suggesting that dry might be preferable here for the reasons I gave. However, importantly they would appear to be thriving.

I don’t live in turkey, but a stray cat did something similar to me once. He was a grown male orange tabby, and he was very sweet. The one day I was on the porch with him and he trying to put his paws up on my skirt. He awkwardly clung to it for a moment (it was a short skirt) before letting go and circling my ankles. I miss that kitty, he was so nice and friendly.
