Do you go to the Tulip Festival? I have thought about the zipper things with pillows also, but would have to do by hand stitch. Love that sweet pillow
Cindy...the 3 of us have to get together.....we went to Latham...it was Rondas first time in a HG.😳😂 I'd honestly have to practice putting in a zipper again, I haven't done it in a while, loooonnng while, like 20 or 30 years!!!! I just think it would be so worth doing. ❤💞
I realized I didn't answer your question about the tulip festival, I usually go with all my children for Mothers Day and then we go to dinner after, however, this year I'll be out of town the whole weekend, my oldest son graduates from University that weekend.

Hi Silvia, thanks for your sweet comments. I'll definately use a chalked/chalk paint, rustolium has a nice brand of chalked paint for under $20 a quart sold at Home Depot, ( I'm not sponsored) I have used it before and like it, its easy to work with, just make sure you stir it throughly before using. And I plan on putting a matte water based polyurathan over the chalked paint, because I have sons and dogs and I dont want it chipping, I will distress the piece and then seal it with poly. Usually if its not in a high traffic area or gonna be used a lot I'll just seal over the paint with a furniture was and buff it to a slight shine. But using a wax requires yearly maintenance of reapplying each year, at least. I hope this helps. Yes they do. But our DG is tiny and mostly groceries. It has 1/2 a row on 2 sides thats stuff other than food.
