Yet they still beat all younger squads. United States women always fields an older squad. It’s hard to break into our team as a young star. Fitness is also a religion to the team. Carli Lloyd is still scoring goals and she’s in a mid 30’s. Don’t ever see age and use that as a negative for any US Squad.
We also have younger players coming up too but we phase them into the team when appropriate not to fill spaces like most teams in the world.

American players are very old
Two years on and there's a lot of young talent now cycling through the national team for experience. The team is even faster than before. They are going to need more of that to win this year's world cup.
