Wow....great single man/craft rescue of those three....they were very stressed and your calmness prevailed....and sometimes you gotta grab life by the seat of the pants.....loved it when you apologized....thanks for sharing....retired now but as a 19 yr old two friends who claimed to know how to handle a canoe wrapped my fiberglass 18 ft who knows what brand around a big rock in the Flint River in middle Ga. I was in a friends aluminum canoe....had to go past and beach and they were only about 20 feet from the bank...got them a rope and pulled them in and then spent about 2 hours freeing up my canoe and letting it drift downstream to a sandbar......three more hours around a fire getting fiberglass to warm up enough to shape back into a straight canoe instead of horseshoe shape.....best thing of all is that both of them had kept their vest on....it could have been very bad...again...thanks for sharing this.....you got a fan in Chuckey Tn sir.
Where is this rapid? I run from Buck's Bridge to Alvarado a time or several every year. The only rapid with a name I know is the one they call Triple Drop or Three Falls down towards Alvarado.

You are a life saver
Cool video. Way to keep a calm head.
I've been been from the dam to bluff city more times than I can count, and that water will shrink your sack in a second it's so cold.
I ride those rapids all the time, very fun ride between fishing
How bad are they for a kayak?
Good on ya! That cold water can hurt people in a hurry. I love that river. Never lost so many big fish on small tippets anywhere else.
A real "Forest Gump" moment.-- If you get my drift.
Good job! They would have been in trouble if you wasnt there!
Thumbs Up 100% Adam
