@bigboi5962 false. WT can't even tell the difference of your plane being locked. And a friendly locking an enemy. That's only one example. As someone with over 3k hours in both games, your just plain wrong.
F-15C is shaping up to be the best top tier of this patch so far. All the caveats of the F-15A (no TWS, no HMS, and AIM-7M) have been fixed on the F-15C and with the addition of the AIM-120A being the best FOX-3 of the patch in terms of BVR performance, combined with the fact it can carry 8 of them makes it definitively the best jet in the game right now. Also not to mention the F-15’s high TTW ratio and high speed handling already made a great BBR capable platform even better. (Also if Gaijin feels like it they could give the F-15C BOL pods which would give it more countermeasures than even the Gripen).
Not to mention those F-15A caveats made it a solid mid plane throughout the last 6 months of meta, though most people relied on its BFM to justify aberrations like asking it to be at 12.7 whereas the Su-27 as a missile bus and the Gripen as the ultimate brawler rinsed the F-15As at anything in practice. Now with the F-15C that tide of underdog will surely turn over time once everyone using it gets the 120s.
@@exhausting_thoughts I’ve been using the F-16C so far to research the F-15C and now I’m only running with 6x AIM-120A. @@AeroTurtle still furballs just less of them, but 16 v 16 is still too much, dcs you mostly fight in 1v1-2s and have a lot of room to do so, war thunder you're almost always facing at least likr 3 players
Not so good, more fuel consumption means more fuel meaning less agile vehicles this should make players be smarter and use ejectable fuel pods more, and fly on after burner only when it is necessary and on mil power when just flying around, this will also create a semi meta giving advantages planes that consume less fuel
I wonder how War Thunder’s F15C radar would handle a full volley of rockets fired towards it from the target it was tracking. Would be fun to play around with. Maybe we could turn rocket pods into pseudo jamming pods
I don’t know what’s going on but I’ve been locking on to a TON of missiles when the target I locked launches them. I’ve actually started not trying to relock, I throw an aim120 stay straight and then relock the target to fire after. 70% of the time my aim120 knocks his weapon out and my second one gets him :)

And also how we should defend ourselves in BVR (because the enemy might launch the missile but how you will notice or take the precaution)
I dont understand why war thunder cant add multiple different “game modes” pr that style format where you get to select between realistic, sim, arcade. Air battles, air nigh battles, air extended range map, air short map, air condensed matchmaking or reduced size whatever they want to call it. Like it would be so cool to be flying an a10 at night with thermals dropping mavericks or gbus
Do you play with a VR or head tracking? If so could you name what you use? I’ve been getting in to the sim part of war thunder and my biggest issue is loosing visual when in dogfights.
Didnt expect to see DCS footage here really awesome to see! The 15C is my favorite jet and I have around 1000 hours just in BFM on it so I have a few tips in the f15c - coming into the merge around 500-550ias with CAS Pitch off you can plant the stick full back on burners and not snap your wings and have one of the fastest instant turn rates in the game. And for BVR grest idea shooting those aamraams early it lessens the drag and lets you climb better to give followup shots more energy. A common tactic I use is 2 early shots around 45-50 miles keep climing in a crank then re engage around 30 miles back into a crank then go for a kill shot. The one in DCS does a lot better in all aspects of dogfighting than the warthunder one as it really does not like to turn when its slower than 180ias.

@@theegunpro4561it would be nice if they would increase rewards if smaller teams were added but they probably wouldn’t do it
@@theegunpro4561yeah, but tbh it’s not necessary cause anyway most lobbies are 3v6-4v8 (blue side always has at least 2x players) so I’d prefer to see another balancing mechanics to make team size more balanced than just decreased max amount of players
No stock grinding some jets at top tier was already hard even when multipathing was at 100m. Now it's absolute hell for stock jets. and lowering even more would mean that the only way to grind the stock jets is to buy the modifications with GE until you get the good missiles and flares/chaff
Worst update I've ever seen for top tier. Once the ARH hype wears down I think the problems will be harder to ignore
Wt community is probably going to complain about Russian bias instead of fixing the game
DCS is bettter
proof that wt flight model of f15 is borked, it compresses way too much
indeed
DCS F15C will always be the GOAT

i dont see the point in comparing such vastly different games, but to each his own. im definitely partial to dcs over current top tier in WT. the match style is horrible.
There is no point.
Well, as far as sensors are concerned, WT is sometimes better, which doesn't exactly make DCS look good.
WT Radar >>>DCS ED Radar.
@@IronDuke39 as someone with over 3k hours in each game, thats simply wrong. but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
@@thekirby53 smae here even far more...
this has nothing to do with opinion, it starts with the fact that in WT Fox2 missles are blocked by clouds, in DCS this is not simulated...
Fox1 are magically laser-guided in DCS, in WT the missle can change the target and be guided to the stronger reflection, this is also not simulated in DCS...
such statements are based on test and basic behavior of radar irl...
@@IronDuke39 thats cause clouds dont effect radar irl. and i didnt bring up cloud modeling. we were discussing the radar, and its modeled better in dcs, period. fox 2's have noting to do with radar modeling
