Profitable farming of Turnip (Shaljam) | Crop Reformer

Turnip is well known vegetable crop and may be cultivated throughout Punjab. Two decades ago early crop of turnip was planted in August and wheat crop was easily cultivated after this crop. Now, its August planting has become rather difficult due to changing climate. Severity of temperature has increased and early sowing of this crop has become difficult. In this video, we have not only advised the farmers about how to plant early crop but complete production technology including sowing method, weed control, irrigation, fertilizer and harvesting has also been suggested.
