When you pray for someone for many years, who is very hardened & seemingly hopeless, then the day comes and you see them surrender and come to Jesus, it's one of the greatest blessings we can know as Christians. So often it's a family member & that makes it even more precious.We should never stop praying no matter what.
I kept praying that God would take my young adult son’s terminal cancer away. He didn’t but during that time he grew closer to the LORD and so did I. At the end, I was just praying for God’s will and not mine. He died 3 1/2 months ago from the cancer. Never hurt this bad. I thought several times of Jesus on the cross and how they crucified him for no reason. It grieved me terribly. My son’s spirit is with the LORD. My heart is still devastated but grateful he is no longer suffering 🙏❤️

My girl friend back in the early 80s we prayed daily for her husband and a month later he was saved then got cancer in 2003 and died but we knew he was saved
I have 2 out of three sons that have no relationship with God and it breaks my heart but God’s got this, He always has. Keep your children in prayer and release them to God. @@susannorman409 My father was a follower of Jesus and a very wise man. He and my mother raised us up to believe the Gospel and the Bible. We spent a lot of time in church. There are three of us. My father told me before he passed away that he believed God’s promise that if you raise up a child in the way he should go then when he is old he will not depart from it. All three of us had walked away as did my mother after Dad passed. But my Dad believed that God would bring us all back. I’m in my mid sixties and the youngest and God called me back this past year when I wasn’t even looking. I’m so grateful for His patience and grace. I shared it with my sister who is 70 and she also repented and turned back to God. In turn she shared with our mother who also confessed her repentance and need for Jesus and is trying to get well enough to go back to church. Only my brother remains and next time I see him I plan to work on him but I keep praying. I know that my father’s faith in the promises of God mattered. I know that God keeps His promises. Trust in Him. You may end up like my father and not be around to see your loved one return to the Lord but that doesn’t mean it won’t happen. In the meantime I suspect that my father, who I know is with Jesus, probably has been informed!

But im not your savior..Jesus is.. he's been angry ever since.. But God's promises are TRUE, so my son will be back..hoping he does that sooner, rather than later.. Your focus shouldn’t be about making money because your purpose is to know God and share God. Ephesians 2:10 - “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works…” The purpose of God saving us and making us new creations in Christ is so that we would produce good works. Get out there and share the gospel, build the kingdom and God will take care of the rest.
