How to become an end game player/speedrunner Destiny 2

This was just a video I thought I'd do since I feel like not many people give guides on how to improve in the game, I also wanted to make this video to pitch my idea of if people want to speed running guides and if that would be an interesting thing to do.

Would love to to see guides on speed running dungeons, raids and nightfalls. Even guides on techniques you can use on each character

I’m an intermediate speed runner (I main warlock) and for me the biggest thing that helped me is joining the Destiny speedrunning discord and meeting people like aegis who are insanely talented players.
watching aegis and others play the game and see how they went about things made my ability to do hard content begin improving at a fast pace like soloing an entire raid encounter in 10 minutes (root of nightmares first encounter) or doing a solo flawless prophecy in 11 minutes was the proving point that all my practice and effort was starting to pay off.

update: any end game speedrunner is probably banned from the big LFG, however, there’s some like-minded people who want to get better in there. For anyone trying to get into the speedrun scene, this is good advice, however instead of networking with people who are already established in the scene. Find friends who are like-minded and want to also improve. You’ll progress faster in the game with a group of friends you KNOW, who have the same goal in mind and are willing to do the research into strats with you. Most established people are high ego and not worth your time, go at your own pace and don’t feel everything needs to be perfect. There’s always something to improve on.

I think this would be a great idea and I'd be interested. My speed running buddy has stopped playing Destiny and your video has pushed me to go back into the LFG pool to look for others. Like you mentioned, there are already videos out there of speed runs etc but often they are not well explained. Never hurts to have another guide!

Thank you for the comment I will try my best to work on some raid speedrunning guides here soon but I’m most likely gonna start off with missions and solo dungeons speeds and move on to some raid guides later on

Hey man keep it up I'am an endgame player whose lost alot of will to play destiny and this video got me back in the mood to relearn some of the movement techs Ive forgotten. Also a raid optimization guide sounds like a good idea.
