Clearly I'm siding with Doc on this, so far he's been WAY to nice. Grian must learn that perfect chaos can only manifest trough perfect order, and he must also learn what happens when a chicken angers a dragon. Honestly though, if not for Ren that dragon egg prank wouldn't have been half as bad, so maybe it's worse to anger the dog in this instance lol.

The thing I love so much about Gideon is that he is always trying new things. The vocals are so interesting especially with the “watched everything explode” lone. The first time I listened to it I was like “Woah!” And the start of the second verse (after the first chorus) the line “Don’t know how to mend these electric connections” is just so good. The music, melody and lyrics flow together so well. Not to mention how in depth the lyrics for every song is in relation to the SMP it pulls from. Gideon is a such a unique and underrated creator. Please continue to make more of these amazing creations!

Its so good! I always watch Grians perspective, and as a fellow gremlin of chaos, I absolutely LOVE when fun wars are started on the Hermitcraft server. I am in love with these fan songs! I remember reading before that we could bring up ideas, so here's something: BDubs is an instigator and worked pretty much the same as Scar's (S7) and Ren's (S9) left-hand man. His character was often using the background power he had, and I think there are some interesting points with that there that could be worked with. It's just an idea though!
The man behind countless wars, the hot guy who's shot down his foes, and the brillian mustache in a suit go against the allmighty horned goat, this will be a battle for the ages.
I love the song (love the music and the rhythms)! Nicely captures Grian's mood as well, and the artwork really captures the tone of the entire friendly war. :D Just in case anybody doesn't know the full backstory (so far... it's ongoing as of this writing), I've written up a full description, which I'll paste here. It's actually too long to fit in an single YT comment, so the other parts will just be in replies. Apologies for the length -- my aim is to leave nothing out, and also to be completely fair in my retelling, not taking any sides: (Part 1/3): First, a bit of backstory of Grian's and Doc's friendship, going back at least to the beginning of the season (I honestly don't know much about previous seasons). Throughout the season, Grian has noticeably been in awe of Doc and the things he can do. We can see it when Doc brought the dragon to the overworld, when he got to see the charged creeper launcher up close, and later when he saw the wither skull catching device. Grian's actually the one who got me started watching Doc's videos. I don't know much about Doc's feelings about Grian, other than that he seems to enjoy how much Grian is awestruck by him. Ok, so here's what happened: It all started when Grian didn't want to build the back of his base, and Impulse, Gem, and Scar held an intervention to try to get him to do it. Well, mainly it was Impulse and Gem holding the intervention; Scar turned out to be kind of the enabler in the room. :D One of the things Grian tried to use to distract them was showing them Doc's tunnel bore. Because he'd discovered (earlier in the episode) that the bore is at the end of a long, long spooky tunnel, with a pile of wardens just hanging about, just chilling. (That was when Grian uttered the now fairly-famous line, "This is Doc's world. We just live in it.") Anyway, Impulse and Gem were like, "Build!" And Scar was like, "I want to see the tunnel bore!" So they went to see the tunnel bore, of course. :D Now, to be perfectly fair, Grian clearly had NO intention whatsoever of even touching the tunnel bore. He just wanted to show the spookiness of it all. And Scar, even though he kept saying, "I want to make it go," didn't actually purposely touch anything either. But at one point, Scar accidentally hit the noteblock that makes it go. Seeing how seemingly simple it was, they then did it again. At one point, Grian hit the noteblock and then Scar hit it, and that... caused the entire thing to blow up. (Their reactions were priceless, btw. Grian, especially, was absolutely terrified of what they'd done. They immediately fled the area.) They then spent a long time trying, and failing, to build a tunnel bore of their own to fix the damage. Failing that, they wrote "We're sorry" and created a peace offering of Scarland items, diamonds, rare TCG cards, and most relevantly, one of Grian's duped dragon eggs. They then butter Doc up during a contrived tour of Doc's base (during which Doc showed them his anvil cannon, and Grian uttered the lines, "It's a good thing you haven't made any enemies," and "He's built a doomsday device!"). It ended with Grian and Scar showing Doc what they'd done. They tried to apologize, distracted him with the pile of gifts, and then fled again. Doc watches their episodes, and actually has a good laugh about how they'd reacted to what they'd done. He knows it was an accident. (and personally, I feel that everybody was very lucky that, of all the machines that this accident could have happened to, it happened to the tunnel bore, which is big and complicated, but also repetitive, and I suspect Doc could rebuild it in his sleep. As opposed to it happening to, say, the anvil cannon.) But Doc also vows revenge, because... of course he does. Specifically, the plan is to "haunt them." Grian gets off fairly easy, with a portal that's just made... interesting. But for Scar, Doc builds a wither-skull-catching device, and then launches the wither skulls to just mysteriously hover over Scarland. Scar takes this in stride (and honestly, seems more affected by the unrelated "horse curse" that Bdubs pranked him with). Grian is, again, SERIOUSLY impressed when he sees the skulls, and even more impressed when he sees how they are made. (This is also when Doc officially banned Grian and Scar from his Perimeter.) (continued in first reply...)
(Part 2/3): Zed, in unrelated news, wanted one of Grian's dragon eggs, and Grian set up an obstacle course/scavenger hunt in order to get it. One of the steps in the hunt was a "test of bravery... and I can think of nothing braver than blowing up something in Doc's base. I did it... and it scared the hell out of me!" (quoting from memory; I may have gotten a few words wrong). Now, to be perfectly fair, what Grian set up was a single TNT block in an unused portion of Doc's base. Literally all that got blown up was about a 5 block radius of plain sandstone floor and wall. No redstone was harmed in the scavenger hunt. That said... nobody fixed the floor and wall, and nobody told Doc anything about it. Doc only learned about it afterwards from Zed's video. When Doc saw this, he decided that a) Grian must be feeling a bit jealous of the elaborate wither skull prank on Scar (which... was certainly possible), and b) apparently griefing other people's bases indirectly is ok now. So... umm... yeah. IMO, this is when things really escalated. So... Grian and Mumbo have this friendship. A friendship that Grian feels really strongly about. They've done IRL road trips together. That sort of thing. And ever since Mumbo built a button in this season that awards a purple crown as a top-tier prize, Grian has concluded that whoever has the purple crown is Mumbo's best friend (something Mumbo was actually unaware of). He REALLY wanted the purple crown. Doc already HAD a purple crown, from basically rigging the button to summon him whenever it ticked down to "purple crown" level. So Doc, in a prank that really impressed me with how poetic it was, left some signs at Grian's base _from Zed,_ thanking him for the dragon egg, saying there was no better way to say "thank you" than with a gift of friendship. The signs led Grian across the bridge between his and Mumbo's bases, and there was a crown on a zombie that had been renamed, "There can only be ONE (best friend)." Grian was suspicious, but he decided to go ahead and kill the zombie. This set off a skulk sensor which triggered a TNT cannon, which blew up Mumbo's front door. Mumbo's front door was complicated, well decorated, and had redstone elements that got destroyed. He also rigged it so Grian would get another note afterwards that says, "... and it isn't you." Grian, who was short on time IRL at the time, couldn't think of some way to retaliate before he left without resorting to Poultry Man (an alter ego of his). He invited Scar to join in, and Poultry Man and HotGuy (since Grian and Scar were banned from the Perimeter) set up a bunch of dispensers with chickens on top of them in the Perimeter, to launch a neverending supply of eggs. Grian acknowledged that this prank was completely disproportionate, but "you don't mess with Mumbo's friendship," and also... "there's a small part of me... maybe a big part... that just wants to see what happens when you _really_ poke the goat." Doc came back on to find over 10,000 chickens in the Perimeter, lagging the entire server, not just with themselves but with all their eggs. Clearing out the chickens (and rehoming a couple thousand of them to Grian's base) took him the next 10 hours. Ren helped out, as did Zed. While helping, Ren died a couple times to the slimes that are omnipresent in the Perimeter, and vowed to join Doc in his revenge. Both of them asked their viewers to come up with some really severe comebacks. One of Doc's viewers had the idea to carpet Grian's and Scar's bases with dragon eggs. (continued...)
(part 3/3): Meanwhile, in unrelated news, Mumbo decided he really didn't like his base, and decided to hire somebody to blow it up. The result was very funny, but also completely irrelevant... I recommend watching Mumbo's video about him not liking his base, if you haven't already. :D But anyway, his base got blown up. Mumbo then decided to use this to mess with Grian a bit after Grian got back from his trip. He acted like, when Grian blew up his front door, Doc had also rigged it to blow up the rest of his base. Grian felt so awful that he burned the purple crown (that he'd gotten when he killed the zombie in the prank). Mumbo then felt bad, and I think this is really what roped Mumbo into this whole thing. Since, as Grian pointed out, Mumbo WAS the only truly innocent party in this whole thing. :D Grian, Scar, and Mumbo met up and decide that they need to take down the Goat, and they came up with being "The Buttercups" (since buttercups are poisonous (to goats and pretty much anything else)... and also pretty). They built a really adorable camp just outside the perimeter (accidentally cutting off the pathway of Doc's mech goat of destruction) with a sniffer named "GoAtEaTeR" and lots of flowers and some eyes (made to look like Scar's, Grian's, and Mumbo's eyes) looking down into the perimeter. (On a side note -- but it's also relevant -- this is when Grian discovers that falling entities cause his Minecraft client to crash, and he has to reload Minecraft each time). Doc saw this camp as a threat. He also came back onto the server to find the dragon drifting FAR from where it was supposed to be, because a) a chicken from the chicken prank had gotten into the chunk loader and laid eggs that broke the loader, and b) when the Buttercups were building their camp off the side of the perimeter, they kept loading and unloading the chunks. So Doc had to spend several hours troubleshooting and several more trying to get the dragon back in place (which didn't work for a while because for some unknown reason, Mumbo's camera account was hanging around inside the Perimeter). He decides it's time to retaliate, using the suggestion to carpet their bases with dragon eggs. He got Ren into it, and Ren, especially, got pretty carried away. BTW, Grian literally CAN'T clear away the eggs right now, because he's still got the falling entity bug. Scar just swept his own eggs under the rug, before hiring the cleaning lady (Pearl) to clean up Scarland. And that's about where we are now (until Doc's most recent video, which I won't spoil).
I honestly think there is gonna be second civil war on the hermitcraft server as this one is showing more signs every day that it’s not the normal prank war but something more severe as Doc is taking things a bit too far(example being blowing up an innocent party’s door(mumbo) and having ren help put what looks like several stacks of dragon eggs around grian’s, mumbo’s, and Scar’s base. Does any one agree with me

I am in love with these fan songs! I remember reading before that we could bring up ideas, so here's something: BDubs is an instigator and worked pretty much the same as Scar's (S7) and Ren's (S9) left-hand man. His character was often using the background power he had, and I think there are some interesting points with that there that could be worked with. It's just an idea though!

Just in case anybody doesn't know the full backstory (so far... it's ongoing as of this writing), I've written up a full description, which I'll paste here. It's actually too long to fit in an single YT comment, so the other parts will just be in replies. Apologies for the length -- my aim is to leave nothing out, and also to be completely fair in my retelling, not taking any sides:
(Part 1/3):
First, a bit of backstory of Grian's and Doc's friendship, going back at least to the beginning of the season (I honestly don't know much about previous seasons). Throughout the season, Grian has noticeably been in awe of Doc and the things he can do. We can see it when Doc brought the dragon to the overworld, when he got to see the charged creeper launcher up close, and later when he saw the wither skull catching device. Grian's actually the one who got me started watching Doc's videos. I don't know much about Doc's feelings about Grian, other than that he seems to enjoy how much Grian is awestruck by him.
Ok, so here's what happened: It all started when Grian didn't want to build the back of his base, and Impulse, Gem, and Scar held an intervention to try to get him to do it. Well, mainly it was Impulse and Gem holding the intervention; Scar turned out to be kind of the enabler in the room. :D One of the things Grian tried to use to distract them was showing them Doc's tunnel bore. Because he'd discovered (earlier in the episode) that the bore is at the end of a long, long spooky tunnel, with a pile of wardens just hanging about, just chilling. (That was when Grian uttered the now fairly-famous line, "This is Doc's world. We just live in it.") Anyway, Impulse and Gem were like, "Build!" And Scar was like, "I want to see the tunnel bore!" So they went to see the tunnel bore, of course. :D
Now, to be perfectly fair, Grian clearly had NO intention whatsoever of even touching the tunnel bore. He just wanted to show the spookiness of it all. And Scar, even though he kept saying, "I want to make it go," didn't actually purposely touch anything either. But at one point, Scar accidentally hit the noteblock that makes it go. Seeing how seemingly simple it was, they then did it again. At one point, Grian hit the noteblock and then Scar hit it, and that... caused the entire thing to blow up.
(Their reactions were priceless, btw. Grian, especially, was absolutely terrified of what they'd done. They immediately fled the area.)
They then spent a long time trying, and failing, to build a tunnel bore of their own to fix the damage. Failing that, they wrote "We're sorry" and created a peace offering of Scarland items, diamonds, rare TCG cards, and most relevantly, one of Grian's duped dragon eggs. They then butter Doc up during a contrived tour of Doc's base (during which Doc showed them his anvil cannon, and Grian uttered the lines, "It's a good thing you haven't made any enemies," and "He's built a doomsday device!"). It ended with Grian and Scar showing Doc what they'd done. They tried to apologize, distracted him with the pile of gifts, and then fled again.
Doc watches their episodes, and actually has a good laugh about how they'd reacted to what they'd done. He knows it was an accident. (and personally, I feel that everybody was very lucky that, of all the machines that this accident could have happened to, it happened to the tunnel bore, which is big and complicated, but also repetitive, and I suspect Doc could rebuild it in his sleep. As opposed to it happening to, say, the anvil cannon.) But Doc also vows revenge, because... of course he does. Specifically, the plan is to "haunt them." Grian gets off fairly easy, with a portal that's just made... interesting. But for Scar, Doc builds a wither-skull-catching device, and then launches the wither skulls to just mysteriously hover over Scarland. Scar takes this in stride (and honestly, seems more affected by the unrelated "horse curse" that Bdubs pranked him with). Grian is, again, SERIOUSLY impressed when he sees the skulls, and even more impressed when he sees how they are made.
(This is also when Doc officially banned Grian and Scar from his Perimeter.)

(Part 2/3):
Zed, in unrelated news, wanted one of Grian's dragon eggs, and Grian set up an obstacle course/scavenger hunt in order to get it. One of the steps in the hunt was a "test of bravery... and I can think of nothing braver than blowing up something in Doc's base. I did it... and it scared the hell out of me!" (quoting from memory; I may have gotten a few words wrong). Now, to be perfectly fair, what Grian set up was a single TNT block in an unused portion of Doc's base. Literally all that got blown up was about a 5 block radius of plain sandstone floor and wall. No redstone was harmed in the scavenger hunt. That said... nobody fixed the floor and wall, and nobody told Doc anything about it. Doc only learned about it afterwards from Zed's video.
When Doc saw this, he decided that a) Grian must be feeling a bit jealous of the elaborate wither skull prank on Scar (which... was certainly possible), and b) apparently griefing other people's bases indirectly is ok now. So... umm... yeah. IMO, this is when things really escalated.
So... Grian and Mumbo have this friendship. A friendship that Grian feels really strongly about. They've done IRL road trips together. That sort of thing. And ever since Mumbo built a button in this season that awards a purple crown as a top-tier prize, Grian has concluded that whoever has the purple crown is Mumbo's best friend (something Mumbo was actually unaware of). He REALLY wanted the purple crown. Doc already HAD a purple crown, from basically rigging the button to summon him whenever it ticked down to "purple crown" level.
So Doc, in a prank that really impressed me with how poetic it was, left some signs at Grian's base _from Zed,_ thanking him for the dragon egg, saying there was no better way to say "thank you" than with a gift of friendship. The signs led Grian across the bridge between his and Mumbo's bases, and there was a crown on a zombie that had been renamed, "There can only be ONE (best friend)." Grian was suspicious, but he decided to go ahead and kill the zombie. This set off a skulk sensor which triggered a TNT cannon, which blew up Mumbo's front door. Mumbo's front door was complicated, well decorated, and had redstone elements that got destroyed. He also rigged it so Grian would get another note afterwards that says, "... and it isn't you."
Grian, who was short on time IRL at the time, couldn't think of some way to retaliate before he left without resorting to Poultry Man (an alter ego of his). He invited Scar to join in, and Poultry Man and HotGuy (since Grian and Scar were banned from the Perimeter) set up a bunch of dispensers with chickens on top of them in the Perimeter, to launch a neverending supply of eggs. Grian acknowledged that this prank was completely disproportionate, but "you don't mess with Mumbo's friendship," and also... "there's a small part of me... maybe a big part... that just wants to see what happens when you _really_ poke the goat."
Doc came back on to find over 10,000 chickens in the Perimeter, lagging the entire server, not just with themselves but with all their eggs. Clearing out the chickens (and rehoming a couple thousand of them to Grian's base) took him the next 10 hours. Ren helped out, as did Zed. While helping, Ren died a couple times to the slimes that are omnipresent in the Perimeter, and vowed to join Doc in his revenge. Both of them asked their viewers to come up with some really severe comebacks. One of Doc's viewers had the idea to carpet Grian's and Scar's bases with dragon eggs.

(part 3/3):
Meanwhile, in unrelated news, Mumbo decided he really didn't like his base, and decided to hire somebody to blow it up. The result was very funny, but also completely irrelevant... I recommend watching Mumbo's video about him not liking his base, if you haven't already. :D But anyway, his base got blown up. Mumbo then decided to use this to mess with Grian a bit after Grian got back from his trip. He acted like, when Grian blew up his front door, Doc had also rigged it to blow up the rest of his base. Grian felt so awful that he burned the purple crown (that he'd gotten when he killed the zombie in the prank). Mumbo then felt bad, and I think this is really what roped Mumbo into this whole thing. Since, as Grian pointed out, Mumbo WAS the only truly innocent party in this whole thing. :D
Grian, Scar, and Mumbo met up and decide that they need to take down the Goat, and they came up with being "The Buttercups" (since buttercups are poisonous (to goats and pretty much anything else)... and also pretty). They built a really adorable camp just outside the perimeter (accidentally cutting off the pathway of Doc's mech goat of destruction) with a sniffer named "GoAtEaTeR" and lots of flowers and some eyes (made to look like Scar's, Grian's, and Mumbo's eyes) looking down into the perimeter. (On a side note -- but it's also relevant -- this is when Grian discovers that falling entities cause his Minecraft client to crash, and he has to reload Minecraft each time).
Doc saw this camp as a threat. He also came back onto the server to find the dragon drifting FAR from where it was supposed to be, because a) a chicken from the chicken prank had gotten into the chunk loader and laid eggs that broke the loader, and b) when the Buttercups were building their camp off the side of the perimeter, they kept loading and unloading the chunks. So Doc had to spend several hours troubleshooting and several more trying to get the dragon back in place (which didn't work for a while because for some unknown reason, Mumbo's camera account was hanging around inside the Perimeter). He decides it's time to retaliate, using the suggestion to carpet their bases with dragon eggs. He got Ren into it, and Ren, especially, got pretty carried away.
BTW, Grian literally CAN'T clear away the eggs right now, because he's still got the falling entity bug. Scar just swept his own eggs under the rug, before hiring the cleaning lady (Pearl) to clean up Scarland.
And that's about where we are now (until Doc's most recent video, which I won't spoil).

I honestly think there is gonna be second civil war on the hermitcraft server as this one is showing more signs every day that it’s not the normal prank war but something more severe as Doc is taking things a bit too far(example being blowing up an innocent party’s door(mumbo) and having ren help put what looks like several stacks of dragon eggs around grian’s, mumbo’s, and Scar’s base. Does any one agree with me
