I have been sewing for 50 years, but I've never finished a neckline quite so perfectly as this! Thank you very much for sharing this technique - I can't wait to try it myself!
Finally!!!! I understand why I’ve seen people rolling the shirt to see the armholes!!! Finally it makes sense! It makes it a French seam on one Passover!!!! Thank you! Subscribed and hit the alarm!
For years I have seen the end results of this technique. I have never been able to figure out how it was done, I just knew it could be. Thanks so much.
..My whole life flashed before my eyes: how in school, during labor lessons, we cut out borders for finishing the neckline and armhole, how we used our fingers to turn the seam to the wrong side and baste it tightly, fix it... And when I now saw the fabric rolling into a tube - the whole course" Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics" came up in my memories... Super. Thank you.
A beautiful demonstration - so easy to follow. I had no problem with the choice of fabric - it was a very pretty pattern on the ' fashion fabric' , making each piece easily identifiable.
Old eyes have a much harder time of it. I really enjoyed this video, so you can teach an old dog new tricks. Do you not speak on your videos because of language barriers?
Yes, thank you for using two completely different fabrics and making one a nice simple solid white..so many tutorials use fabrics that are so difficult to distinguish, difficult to see the "right/wrong side" or are so hard on the eyes it makes the video frustrating. You also did great on the lighting and the distance from the machine.
I’m an amateur trying to learn sewing but just can’t get myself to do it without being afraid of things going wrong 😞 and yes they do go wrong and I end up so confused and struggling to understand what I should do. I admire your beautiful sewing techniques and how easy you make it look 👌🏻
you just have to go for it!! Mistakes are the best teacher and the only way to get better :) don’t get down on yourself or let fear stop you from trying !!! That’s what stops most people and then they never do anything at all. Artistry requires messing up over and over and over again. until you get it right. when you finally do you will have EARNED it!! I believe in u :)
Sew very simple things to begin with, use cheap fabrics, recycle old sheets, then you won’t be worried about wasting fabric. Go to real life sewing lessons. There is only so far you can go with watching videos. Some sewing skills, you need to be shown by a sewing teacher.
It takes a lot of practice for sure. I make quilts and my first quilts looked terrible when I look at them today. I didn’t quit though I just kept making them. Now I do a much better job but I realized that it came with practice so I suggest jumping in and doing it. You Tube is a great resource since there doesn’t seem to be any classes out there for hands on training. Good luck!

The rolling of the fabric to do the armholes is magic! Thank you for showing that.
Why he did it that way??
@@aalaasattar1631 They call it the burrito method and it makes for a perfect finish, nice and neat.

Sensacional. Tenho que ver varias vezes para entender o enrolado final. Sem duvida um mestre digno de ser seguido.

Вы показываете приёмы работы просто и ясно. Большое спасибо!
So simple to follow and you could easily line a whole dress in this method
I agree. Very simple to follow but I would LOVE to see a video where a 'whole dress' is lined. Been having issues with lining an entire dress.
Truly 😍👍
Muy buena idea ,queda con más limpia las costuras, gracias por enseñarme ❤
