Do love the cow’s. We have a heard at the bottom of our garden but sadly they’re beef 🥴. They’re so inquisitive and the entire herd will congregate at the bottom of our garden as they’re intrigued by the cats and dog 😊

Just come back from your neck of the woods. Had a few days away as we wanted to go to Shepton mallet antiques fair… between there and a reclamation yard in Bristol we came back with a car full 😮!! Was definitely in the flight path of Bristol airport as planes were going over two a penny 😊
I would also like to thank you very much for showing us how to make Yorkshire puddings. I have been married for over 40 years and I never mastered Yorkies no matter what recipe I followed. Tonight I tried it your way after watching your video and wow!! I did it. I don’t know who was more amazed me or hubby!! Woohoo Thankyou x
I’m thrilled you gave it a go! It feels like a leap of faith using this method but they always seem to come out well, some better than others but never a disaster. X
Thank you so much Gaynor for sharing your May with us. For me, what is lovely to see is that life isn’t all the lovely, fluffy, good stuff (even though that’s what’s usually shown on social media) sometimes it’s mundane and we all have things to do that we don’t like or are deemed as boring. That’s life! Look forward to seeing you again soon x
And don’t forget that there’s still stuff that doesn’t make it to the vlog. I never think to pick up the camera when Bill is having a meltdown, or Wilf is being cheeky or when Teddy has pee’d on the toilet seat again and left straw and hay all through my freshly hoovered house 😂 but I do try to show a more balanced view whilst still focussing on the good bits. Always good in life to focus on the good bits though I do struggle with that. X
@@talesfromcuckooland I agree, always better to focus on the good but sometimes social media goes too much that way and gives the impression that that’s real life, which it is but life also has its fair share of rubbish too. That’s why I love your channel. I love seeing your boys, such typical teens! 🤪 I loved seeing Bill prepping for his DofE. ❤️

@@talesfromcuckooland Brilliant. I recently read if you make up a spray with a very diluted seaweed feed it can act as a slug deterrent. A tip from one of the gardeners at RHS Harlow Carr gardens apparently
Just spent the last five days in Pensfold… the planes are skimming 🫢 !! Visited Bristol reclamation yard this morning… not good, we spent quite a bit but the parking was insane ! Wells was another bonus … got some good vintage bits there 🤞. Off to cheddar for the boot fair and market tomorrow 🤗

How in the world do you get rid of stinging nettles??!? What a job!!! My mother used to tell the story of how she jumped in some nettles to retrieve a ball while wearing a bathing suit. I've only been stung twice on my finger and I remember the pain!

Hi Gayna loving your vlogs lovely home garden and family, hope you don’t mind me asking but where did you get your bra from looks comfy and comfy straps I find it difficult to get something comfortable bit of a strange thing to ask hope you don’t mind, look forward to the next vlog and seeing the chickens ❤xx
It’s from next. It’s a non wired bralet without fastenings. You pull it over your head and it has slightly padded cups. It’s the best!
