Great video. Loved it. Although you ( not only you but nearly everybody) misses out the fact. That what had a huge influence on this great album is the band xtc. When they released their album/ Ep called 25 o'clock, under their pseudonym band, name the dukes of stratosphere. Also produced by John leckie. The roses heard it and told John they loved that album and could he do something similar with their album. John leckie confirms this in the xtc documentary. This is pop.
Literally my favourite band ever. It doesnt matter to me that they never broke the states. Tha Stone Rosest self titled album was literally the soundtrack to my life. I was born back in 1980 and was a bit to young to fully appreciate them but when they reformed. Something nobody seen coming was my chance to see them. Funny enough it was there last ever gig after the reunion. Prinal Scream supported at Hampden park Glasgow 2017. Shoot you down and Standing here are my favourite album and B side songs. As if yiu cantvtell in a Roses fan 😂. This was good work mate. Definitely one of the greatest albums ever.
@@Krysiss Doesnt make you any less of a fan. Your work on this was amazing and only someone with a true love for the band would do it justice which you have 👍
The roses the greatest band there ever was and ever will be every song makes you feel something like the lyrics speak to you especially made of stone 🍋
i was fascinated by the Roses... had never seen them live and was looking forward to Glastonbury 95.. really looking forward.. of course it fucked up due to Squire falling off his mountain bike.
ian didnt care that he couldnt sing, i actually like his lazy style of singing, or how he doesnt really keep up with the rythm. plus he was also very inspired by the sex pistols and their attitude, around mid-late 70s.
They make the video 18+ if you talk about what happened to Kurt. I didn't wanna risk it since the video isn't even about him yk. Sorry if it's a bit annoying.
You gotta love it when Brits try ad get snobby with America, even though America created rock music and the guitar sound Squire used "wah wah " = check Superfly Also, so the Americans got The Beatles, Kinks, Bowie , Smiths, Sex Pistols etc, The Who, The Rolling Sones, Roxy Music , The Fall, but its the Roses that are special? I like Stone Roses but they are one of the most overrated bands ,ever and Americans don't fall for that stuff.
@@Krysiss "America didn't deserve ", right they didn't get fucked over by anyone other than themselves, the roses are the most over rated of our good bands..I like them but subjectively they are very overrated
Ian Brown really can't sing, still they were a brilliant band at their peak. However there are many bands who are just as good with better singers out there past & present.
I don't know if America would love The Stone Roses. Their sound is too washy and soporific. Are there any other Madchester/Baggy bands that got big in the US?
That debut album is the best album of all time for me.
The second coming is so so underrated and gets better with age
yee less goooo stone roses!!!!! now do joy division
i need to cover all the big manchester bands
@@Krysiss looking forwards, love your content
another great upload i’m gonna listen to they’re self titled
you're gonna love it 🙏🙏
YES HE MADE A STONE ROSES VIDEO
WOOOOO

Great work !
thank you!
i first heard the band on mtv's 120 minutes. their debut album is a landmark in the history of recording.

Boss vid as always mate, you should do some stuff on madchester as a whole
good idea
Fuck yeah!!! The Stone Roses!!! (They’re my favourite band)
please do curve, they were also similarly unlucky while at the same time pushing the direction of music in the 90s.
Video on the jam?
maybe
i was fascinated by the Roses... had never seen them live and was looking forward to Glastonbury 95.. really looking forward.. of course it fucked up due to Squire falling off his mountain bike.
that's sad
The 3 O'Clock !!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤

Best album ever
genuinely
Video maybe on Happy Mondays? Their lives are wild 😭
I need to look into them because I don't know much about them
Can you make a video analysing in rainbows?
Definitely, I wanna do more analysing videos bcz I love them
sonic youth next!!!!
U criminally underrated the second coming it's still a brilliant album it's just not almost perfect like the debut
Finally, best band oat, now joy division
YES YES YES
!!!!!
Honestly im on the minority who believes second coming is as good or even better than their debut but definitely isn't as iconic
if you are from england, these lads are a household name
Ian Brown and Froggy Fresh are long lost clones of each other
Waterfall is probably my favorite song ever. I find it difficult to find anyone else in Ohio who actually knows them.
it's worse in Albania lol
this cute little lesbian finally got 10k 🎉🎉🎉

Pretty good but what's with censoring those words?!?! End?

@@Krysiss Wow, that's crazy. They don't like reality to come out.
Sadly made of stone the b side album of the debut album was better than second coming
Libertines?
I love The Libertines so definitely

I'm not British and I didn't say anything bad about America. It's just sad the band got f*cked over, that's the point I was trying to make.
The Fall, another Manchester band with terrible singer, since when did they become popular in USA?

I don't know, I don't think so but that debut is a really good album. Who knows how things wouldve gone?
Nice video but why are you so obsessed with Noel being gay?
lmaoo i just thought it was a funny clip from my oasis vid 😭
Chameleons > stone roses
The band might’ve died but the people made their music live forever 🤌🏻
that's why I put live forever in the background at the end of the video 💪
