Good video! I have the same bike and considering to double the battery capacity. Where did you mount the 2nd set of battery on your bike? Did you have to drill hole on the bike frame for the wires? Thanks!
The 2nd battery is just strapped under the frame with several cords and a protective net. Between the battery and the frame i have put a few layers of foam so it doesn't crush the wires nor it hits the metal loops. The wires go under the frame through the same hole that wires come out from the original controller.
Because the charge plug will connect to the other battery BMS. This can generate a lot of problems are BMS are made to charge at 2-3amps, connecting the battery directly will mostly blow out something as it's going to generate a rush of current. The internal battery can also become highly unbalanced. You are also going to drive all the power through a single BMS output. These are just few things that are not permitting such kind of build.
Nice work. I have this same bike 500w with 48v 12.8ah battery. My other e-bike has the same style/size battery also 48v but bigger capacity at 15ah. Could I use this in the lankeleisi without having to change any settings or causing any damage?
@@TechTronic9000 No worries, thank you for replying. Awkwardly, the wire from the gf600 controller that leads to the battery needs to be cut and split in order to be able to connect the second battery to it.Since I don't know how to do it, I am still looking for a viable solution.
It does, yes! I don't know how to do it either, still looking for a solution too.Awkwardly, when I ordered an extra battery for my gf600,Gogobest sent me the wrong model, refused to refund me and instead sent me a video showing that I need to cut the wires from the new battery and do some electric welding to connect it to my controller. They have absolutely horrible customer service! Too bad, because the bike is amazing,a real bad ass!
The energy from a capacitor is very limited, you would need a huge ultacapacitor bank which will take more space and weight than a battery so it's not practical. The high load on this bike can be "constant" for long periods of time when you go uphill or use top speed.
hy..your content video iss very interesting..can u uploud part 2? is while parallel 2 battery in same voltage n while charging dual battery...is it not burn bms?
Very interesting. Should the two batteries be equally “new” as well? I mean bought and used interchangeably or is it ok to buy the second battery later and connect it to the existing one?
It doesn't matter the sate of the batteries as long as they are in good health. It's actually more important to have a good BMS that also has common wire design, which means it also charges the battery through the discharge wires. This way both batteries will charge / discharge and keep the same voltage between them, like having two communicating gas tanks.
I took my new T750 fat tire for a test ride. It was great until the return trip. The bike motor would not work in P! or any mode. I kept rebooting the display and finally it worked again but had a mind of it's own. Would not shift up or down. Kind of worried now. Any suggestions?
@@TechTronic9000 Thanks very much for replying. I contacted Lankeleisi and the technician was very helpful. Long story short, the technician sent me a new throttle, display, motor controller and a main cable. The motor controller was the problem and the bike is now working perfect. The online service was excellent. The technician messaged and phoned me until the bike was fixed. Thanks again, you're reviews led me to buy the bike and I am very satisfied. Cheers!
@@arkadiusznowakowski9084 I saw comments that their service was subpar but I could not ask for better online service. The technician was calling , messaging and sending diagrams to identify the problem and sent parts until the problem was found. Great service for me at least
More battery capacity is like having a larger gas tank and using the same engine, you are not putting more strain on the controller, you just have more range. Problems start when you increase the voltage.
Very tempted to do this I was going to mount battery ontop like motorcycle petrol tank 😁 My partner says I should sell the bike and get 20 inch model Instead. I could always add second battery to 20 inch model 😁
If you are looking at the X3000 20" model then forget it, it has a lot of frame faults and can suffer catastrophic failure such as snap in half. You can see more about that on the owners group here: facebook.com/groups/LankeleisiBike
Still working great, see my epic ride with this config, it approximately doubles my range, it also decreases voltage drop so you get better power delivery under heavy load and also more consistent battery level display.
Very bad experience with Lankeleisi... I received a bike with deep scratches and multiple scuffs on the frame and the fenders, the fenders and their bars were crooked without any assembly instructions or operation of the electronic module, very badly packaged, a horrible nightmare..
So you made at least 3 different accounts just to spam my review? If you had troubles with your bike than contact the seller. The service and support for this kind of bike depends a lot on the place you buy it. You can always cheap out and buy from dubious sellers that will not provide any kind of support. That is why I prefer to buy the stuff that I review from reputable sellers that I know that they will help me sort it out in case something goes wrong.

Hi, why don't you connect the second battery via the loading plug in the frame when you place it under it, already?

Yes you can use it.
Can you please do a video on dual battery setup on Gogobest GF600?
I don't have a Gogobest GF600 to do the mod on it.

Yes wire spiting and soldering is needed, but it should be done with appropriate knowledge otherwise it can turn into a disaster.

Maybe a local electronic shop might help you.
to help with high load drain (not to double capaciry though), why not use capacitor. I believe it would help to extend the battery lifespan

I will post a ride video with the dual battery setup. Battery is in parallel it has a common port bms and will charge together with the original one.
@@TechTronic9000 So, after the modification I would only have to use one charger to charge both battery's?
You can use one or two chargers.

Check all the plugs and wires, did water get into the display? Fully charge the battery and try again.

What kind of li-ion use in this battery? NMC or what?
Normal 18650 Li-Ion cells. The add-on battery uses Chinese FST cells rated to 2400mAh, but they actually provide around 2600mAh.
Good video! Can this be done to to the fiido m1 pro?
Yes it can be done on the M1 Pro also.

Hey, how do you know if your controller is 1000w or 500w?
By the amp rating written on it. Mine is a 20A model, thus 20A*48V is 960W, the so called 500W version comes with a 12A controller which is 576W.
@@TechTronic9000 where is the amp rating written?
On the motor controller that is installed in the back part of the frame. It's the silver box with all the wires going into it from my video.
