Many years ago I potted up a Mango seed, whole, & it sprouted well. I didn't realize that the seed was inside that shell! But it grew well, until I missed the weather forecast & didn't bring it inside!

It works, but not how it shows in the video. For 7 days the seed will grow only root and if the stem is this size, the root will be much much bigger from the root in the video. ;)
I had mistakenly broken the seed inside the husk a little bit only two to three centimetre we can see little bit the soft white part it will grow or not....😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I'm not an expert, but I would most probably wrap it with thin stripes of a particular type of masking tape if that doesn't work you can always plant another seed!
Je n ai pas fait comme ça, j'ai mis l amande dans du coton à germer et ensuite je l'ai mise dans un pot de terreau mais je n ai pas recouvert l amande pour qu'elle verdisse et grâce à cette pratique la lumière et le soleil donne une couleur verte à l amande ce qui rend plus fort le feuillage... I see a lot of comments saying that it takes longer. Well, there are a lot variables, like what kind of water did you using. I think the content creator is using well/live water. If you use tap water it may slow the process and in some cases kill the whole thing LOL. The point is that it works :).

It is not 7 days, it takes 2 months to become that much small in glass water, i also germinated but only kid roots came since 7days

👀1-2 weeks it would take unless the conditions aren’t right or the mango variety is slow

No dear. As long as the seed has been exposed to likeable conditions, it will only take 7 days to reach that stage of growth.
