- It's time for Episode 8 of the Did You Know? Series featuring more things you might not know in WWE 2K23, including new features, secrets, easter eggs and hidden content!
In today's episode we're focusing on the new Patch 1.08 update and the Steiner Row DLC Pack, as the combination of the patch update and DLC release includes a lot of new content!
Today's featured things include:
- A new trio entrance and victory motion for Damage Ctrl
- New Post-Bloodline Commentary for Sami Zayn
- Roman Reigns Drive By Dropkick OMG Moment
- New Free DLC Moves including the Slingshot Lariat (Buckshot Lariat)
- The addition of New Superstars Candice LeRae and Mia Yim, both of which have been patched into the game for a future release
- Updates to MyGM that allow Championships to be defended in Triple Threat and Fatal 4-Way Matches

I been asking for years about the keeping the stars up-to-date now that's cool they are doing it please make it a great habit
And make it so you can ACTUALLY play downloaded arenas online. Constant crashes. Terrible.

The only thing missing here is Sami's old entrance music.
Also create an arena is fixed including the turnbuckles. They also updated little things like the generic crowd signs.
Do you know if the skybox in outdoor arenas is fixed? It just flashes black endlessly
@@JTsavage7577 that I haven’t check but I will when I get home! I hope they did. Also in smaller arenas I hope they patched the entrances. Same thing just pitch black

Refs are now in custom arenas now.
I wonder if the developers at 2K put in things like the hidden Big Poppa Pump entrance, the hidden Candice LeRae and Mia Yim models, and other things on purpose bc they know guys like WhatsTheStatus will find them and upload them to CC
They should pay him for doing their job for them.
Big poppa pumb entrance is not hidden is in the game but only if you bought the dlc
@@chrisdanger5426 but it's there regardless when you get the dlc...its even got the commentary for BPP. it's like 2k is saying "there it is! We set the template. So now go to town and make your own version of him..."

There’s no reason they can’t do music trons and attire updates for superstars. It should be done each year.

Oh yeah I’m downloading Big Poppa Pump Scott Steiner and I like that they updated commentary for Sami Zayn’s entrance that’s a nice touch 🔥
They also included Pat McAfee’s Punt Kick.

Did you know, there is a reference to Axiom's previous character during his entrance.
During his entrance, there's a chance that Byron Saxton will point out how Axiom could grow up to be a superhero, and Corey responds with, "Is there even an adult in there? It looks like A-Kid". A-Kid was who Carlos Ruiz first entered NXT as when first signed, and was a part of one of 2K22's DLC packs
Trio entrances work in universe mode now
Yes and no, while you can have trio entrances you still can't assign the motions or music which sucks
So there being specific commentary for Big Poppa pump and a complete entrance animation, I'm very curious if my faction will have like a WcW card pack that has Big poppa pump Scott Steiner and the dog faced gremlin Rick Steiner.
I hope so, because then WhatsTheStatus can take them and reupload them for use outside of MyFaction so no one has to play that shitty mode 😂.

Did you know if you export your MyRise character, in exhibition they will still have The Lock commentary?
Right that's kinda unfortunate since I make a lot of CAW's for my caw brand.
The signs you assign in create a wrestler have gotten a huge visual update in the latest update!

Even it’s still very much broken I’m glad 2k have attempted to make Universe Mode playable
But I'm amazed that it had positive reviews.
Biggest complaint I have are the servers. It’s 2023 and the servers are the worst out of any game I’ve played. And when you bring it to their attention they wanna blame our internet, but yet I’m able to play any other game online just fine.

did you know that now you can set normal motions as title motions
That the Damage CTRL Entrance is assigned to them as soon as you download the patch is not true. I´ve installed the patch and I had to give it to them via Create a Entrance.
Interesting thing to note. They now made it so that when you delete a created superstar, you get an option to delete all the images associated with said character. Whether or not that works is up for debate, though. When I tried it on my PS4 version, the game crashed, though I believe it was because I was deleting something made by WhatsTheStatus. So, if this actually works as intended, no longer will we suffer a long line of deleting unused content via the deletion utility option.
I noticed this too. It does seem to work as intended, though weirdly with the update it did remove some of my custom renders for alt attires. Didn’t outright delete them. Also if you delete a superstar, you have to exit and re-access the menu to edit any other superstars or alts.
Did you know that there is rivals commentary for Rhea vs Charlotte, Randy vs Riddle, Cena vs Roman, and Bianca vs Becky? And did you know that Roman's championship victory with Paul Heyman is now in the game? (I found this in thisgengamings video)
Something I thought was pretty cool. Was in MyGM on the manage roster screen Ludwig Kaiser is still listed as Marcel Barthel. Of course this has been since the game launched .

@@miller53bs2012 yes ps4, but what’s weird is I’ve noticed it also on the Ps5 as well. My brother has a ps5 and it said Marcel for him too.

Did they fix the bug in Universe Mode where you couldn't have more than one manager once you enter the match?
It worked for me when I tried it yesterday, so yeah, they fixed it :)

Did you know that Whatsthestatus posted a 2020 version of Alexa Bliss shortly after release has been removed from the game completely? And if you try downloading that version again you get a “failed” notification. 😢 I really loved that Alexa.

😫Ahh the stress down to having only one slot left, to now have to decide on deleting one or few sense this DLC release. Damn I hate this issue just wish they gave us more slots in patches along the way.🥺

I’m in the same exact boat.
I've used up every slot.
I don't use them on attires, but on wrestles not in the game.
For example, I like to re-enact past wrestling matches, so I have downloaded every person who has had a War Games Match, so that I can replay past War games matches.
Also, with the Steiners in, I downloaded all their opponents.
Add to that those I downloaded to use for MyGM Mode and MyUniverse, it builds up very quickly.
I keep seeing everyone saying "Damage ctrl entrance" like yes its cool, but the main thing for me is we can edit 3 person teams again, because we couldn't prior to this patch. so yes its nice having this entrance its nicer being able to set all the custom stables to enter together
Did you know you can now play as in the raw 02 arena in universe mode
Did you know that Rey Mysterio '97's theme is still in the game as the WCW Nitro theme? Can be selected in Create an Entrance as well

Did you know in myrise in the British area if you use Alis comeback your able to exit the ring and explore the area dispite not being able to exit the ring
Hopefully next year of 2024, when 2K's gonna fix for WWE 2K24, they'll bring Candice & Mia back and especially B-Fab a.k.a Briana Brandy will be playable debut better than 2K23, like that's something to know though for sure.

They have removed "Becky" from the back of Bianca Belair's tights
Did you know in universe if you go to setup at match it blocks out super starts who aren't on your roster idk if this is new but it's a pretty cool update makes universe better
I am not sure if that’s just me but I strongly feel like they updated Solo Sikoa’s model to reflect his current physique. Maybe I am wrong tho
The Haymaker Punch wont work for me, when I go to preview it he just grabs the air and stands there until I choose a new move.
Does the GM mode updates automatically apply to ongoing save files? I'm playing through a season right now with some friends and titles being able to be defended in multi-man matches is HUGE, but I don't want to have to restart from scratch in order to get that ability.
Did you know the neckbreaker 13 is actually B-fabs finisher despite her not being playable in the game
They added the myrise arena logos in create an arena so another added touch if you all want to replicate PWJ .

Even though he’s not in game there are some wicked CAWS of ‘Big Poppa Pump’ that easily rival the DLC packs.
So I’m good with that..
I already tested both the Mia yim and Candice LeReas from Status, and they are once again wonderful. So far, that's a 3 for 3 from me on how impressed I am with Statuses work in 2k23 so far. I already got the Mandy Rose earlier, and that one is great, too. Can't wait to do a proper finish to the club vs. judgment day story once the rest of the OC are released.

The Guillotine Legdrop was actually not added in this patch. I added it to Becky at launch it was just never assigned to her.

4:47 what sense does it make for 2k to put Candice LaRae and Mia Yim in the 2k23 game files but not in the game itself ? Why not just patch them into the game with patch 1.08 ?
They’ll likely patch them into a dlc. Status uploaded both on community creations & when you download them they both have managers & allies listed. Mia Yim has AJ Styles & The OC listed as Allies even though Gallows & Anderson dlc hasn’t come out yet. Candice LeRae meanwhile has Johnny Gargano listed as an ally & manager. On the PC version of 23 both are listed as dlc. So 2K will likely add them in a later patch. As they are just recycling there 22 models

Funny, my damage ctrl entrance wasn't automatically applied. I had to manually edit the entrance.
When I downloaded the Scott steiner alt, I didn't get the other commentary for some.reason
