its entirely (or at least mostly) by choice. It's really hard to 'break into' other countries and he's already a household name in Australia, why bother with all that work?
I think it's because his first works were songs like 'I Fuck Dogs.' and 'I Wanna Spill the Blood of a Hippy' and other such charming songs. things like that would follow him to other countries that don't like it that much (ie America) so he would have a harder time 'breaking into' some countries. also: he's got it good in Australia. why mess with a good thing? he is 50 after all.
you can tell in Paul,s grin that moments like these post DAAS with his mate Tim mean the world to him.
both legends.
I love how as soon as Paul starts to sing, Tim imediately, if not instinctively, harmonises with him. xx
Realistically, Paul McDermott should be some sort of international superstar. That he isn't is continually baffling.

that is ridiculous how how good that Tim and Paul sound together......
That is one massive grin on Paul throughout this whole bit
Lovely lovely lovely 💕💕💕
The musical segment from this episode was really good with this and Frank Woodley singing "Love is in the Air".
what I love about that end bit is that Tim reeeaally likes the Golden Girls. in his book that show is onle of the best sitcoms in his opinion.
Such a cute Paul-Giggle at the very end... 3:02
Crazy DAAS harmonies . Even if only for a millisecond
Also he's an incredibly shy man and from everything I know of him he would loath that kind of fame.
Yeah Doug Anthony all stars was the shit!!
