For me it is an interpretation, even more moving than the original one by Lauren Daigle who won a Grammy with this song and she is a fantastic singer-songwriter of Christian music. I am sure that I will die long before this girl stops surprising me with what she is capable of doing and imagining, for me Angelina is a gift and a sort of dream that has lasted for 10 years and continues to move me and fill me with joy every time that I listen to it. This is simply Angelina. There is no need for anything else to be moved, happy to be there and to be able to listen to her. We are very lucky to shared the same time. 💛🧡 ❤

This was a subscription online concert. So it was not available until recently. At 15 Angelina was an accomplished professional under contract to Republic Records. This stunned her fans. For many one of her best. She sang it for her Angels to thank them. Song really is spot on in this context. "In you l find my identity..." For us.

In this song and in 7th Heaven i think she was sharing her doubts, and was thanking her Angels for our contining support and love. Have been listening to my screen capture for two years and still choke up.

At the very end of the Christmas Show on December 23, 2021, (she was 15 and would turn 16 on January 10, 2022). Angelina performed "You Say", and she stated this is for my fans. I lost my breath, and I got chills, and the tears began to fall. I am an atheist, and my faith is in mankind, and the universe, the antithesis of chaos, not some mythical being. I believe the song "You Say" is referring to Angelina's Angles, those that support her in her quest. There must be a supernatural place in the universe, how else can we explain this being called Angelina Jordan. As AJ's Angels, we don't need to see the black and white to color transition, AJ has a SIGNATURE VOICE that no one on earth can duplicate. © Larry D. Pifer
