How about using some hair/wig wax to the roots to add texture? I've been using a regular hair wax (not the wig wax) for about a year now, and it makes a significant difference. Perhaps try the wax and do a follow up.

So, I could use your expert opinion Taz. Did you have to get rid of the Espirt wig because it was too large? If so, as I mentioned, I have the same size circumference and maybe I shouldn't get this?
For those of us who are a little freaked out by how much HAIR we have when we first put on a voluminous wig, this one would be perfect! I would love a low density, fine, low profile wig that was just an improvement on my thin hair. This style is so fresh and easy. I wish it were a tad longer. But I love it!

When I wear my long Ellen Wille wig in champagne rooted I get more compliments than I do for any other wig I own. That said its a shade that seems quite variable from style to style! Esprit looks fun.

I am so bummed it is large!!! That is what is so frustrating to us! Can't they be consistent??!! I so wanted this, but nothing turns a wig wearer off when caps are large! The bulge and constant adjusting us so not worth it. Take note EW.

Hi Taz, Trust you enjoyed your weekend. I just returned from Park City. I love it and go there twice a year. This wig is so cute. My hair is similar. I am going to buy this today. I just have to decide which color to choose. I am so happy how wigs look this day and age. 22 years ago, I was stricken with 3/4 stage breast cancer. I wasn't expected to live. My surgeon wasn't even going to recommend chemo for I was too far gone. However, I lucked out and there was a volunteer heavy duty agents (poison) study. I did not hesitate and signed up. I am blessed to be here today. In in the days I wore wigs, there was no front lace and I don't think there was hand tied wigs either, but not sure. Wigs have come a long way. :-)
I just want to have a few wigs to change styles and colors just for fun and or when I don't feel like dealing with my own fine thin hair. This is one of the best I've seen and I don't like much permatease. I have the same size circumference as you and I hope it won't be too large, so apparently, I will have to cinch it to keep the wig snug.

Blessings to you for continued good health, wellness and joy in all your days! Modern wigs are so amazing! No longer is it “I have to wear wigs”, but rather “I GET TO WEAR WIGS!” Yay! I struggled with the fit in this one unfortunately I had to part with it early. God Bless 🙏🏻🥰🥰
So glad for your survivor testimony! As far as the sizes of wigs being too big, I dont ever see Taz wear one but I could not do without my velour/velvet type wig grip or hair grip. I've had a couple different brands and they make all the difference in the world. After I put mine on very snugly with the velcro in the back, I also put 4 to six of this flatish snap down clips spaced around the band as my head is rather odd shaped and wigs or bands tend to want to creep back on me. The wig grip or hair grip also pulls my forehead up a bit giving a mini brow forehead lift!! PLUS it increases the size of your head enough that it can fill out a too large wig to make it wearable! Just a tip!!
I haven't bought anything new in quite a while because all the ones I really like are so big! I had hope for this one when I was seeing the cap so I was disappointed when you said it was so large on you. Thanks for the honest review 💜😊

I wish there was a more red/auburn color than what Ellen Wille has. I love this wig! Marlene has it in chocolate lighted, but I want more red. Maybe hazelnut rooted? I'd rather have more blond in it, too.

Taz, I totally agree with you about the larger than usual EW size. I was able to cinch it all the way in and keep it on my 21.5" head, but I returned due to color. Re-ordered and I'm hoping maybe the next piece might be smaller. By any chance do you know of any unscented texturizing spray that can be used on wigs? Thanks!
Hi Kim! Thanks for the comments! I am not aware of any unscented texturing spray.. The Simply Stylin Light Silk Spray comes in unscented, but not the texturing sprays.. why they use such perfumey scents is beyond me.. Perhaps they need to mask the natural odors of the ingredients 🤷🏻♀️ XOXO
I just wanted to share with you, a product that neutralizes fragrances that are in so many wig products. I got it as a free sample at Wig Studio 1, its by Beautimark its called, Purifi Spray. Its wonderful!

I splurged on a JR Elizabeth and was very very disappointed! The updated hairline had a very obvious white band going across the front also, and the cap is actually baggie in the back! If I pull it down all the way, it kills my ears! May have to just sell it!
