My ideal romcom has always built up for this, for so long I wanted a series that ended up shifting from the romance and focused on a bunch of randos that have been watching from the sidelines. You have no idea how long I've wanted something like this. It would be amazing if this ended up taking place in a restaurant the characters visit to vent their emotions and frustrations, to the point that regulars are aware and follow the love triangle to the point of even have a pool going on and their own mini shipping wars. Fighting over if they should "interfere" and support, and just having a total obnoxious war in the background. And the fact it's Eiji Masuda of all people is beyond perfect.
