I am impressed with India for saying things as they are. In their proper prospective. However, notefully, their saying wasn't executed by their action, condoning terrorist leadership into the UN world body. Contradictory, incoherent.
I am a Hindu living in India. Muslims in pre-partiton India much like muslim Palestinians today demanded and forced the British authorities to concede a separate independent state for them by partitioning India geographically. Today,after 70 years of that partition,West Pakistan is tottering on the brink and may fall anyday without the support of Christian America and Europe. The East Pakistan aka Bangladesh is no different either. The day Palestinian muslims separate from Israel, which seems impossible without a viable settlement on Jerusalem, their future will be doomed. They will never find peace and succumb finally to inbred violence and international terrorism. Therefore India's support to two state solution doesn't amount to much on the ground. But much more worrying is lack of forceful condemnation of genocidal October 7th in her statement. So, here, let me condemn this genocide unequivocally and unflinchingly on behalf of us,Hindus,living in India.

Why does the members of the UN constantly talk about a 2 state solution when Hamas and the ppl of Gaza ( not Palestinian as there is no Palestine country ) don’t want it - they want the whole of Israel - they stupidly keep harping about it
Look at it logically, you can maintain current status quo for a 1000 years and still not come close to resolving it, where lives be lost continuously. Yes no Palestine country exist now, but only solution is at some point in time, it does and both Israel and Palestine have right to exist and live in peace. Hamas is nothing but a terror organisation which has taken control of Gaza, and derailed political process there, am sure, Israel will be able to take care of hamas by the time they are done with Gaza. How do you take them into account for their actions? only when they are a nation, they are held to same accountability. Currently no matter how many times hamas Hizbulla do unprovoked actions - they are not accountable, as not a nation. Best solution is a a negotiated solution between Israel and Palestine state, Have a 1 km or so of no mans land between the 2 entities, heavily mined and sensors deployed , like the one between North and South Korea, so that distance is too large to tunnel underground, or come via land and travel via air can only be a one way journey. close the borders, to restrict interactions maximum possible. Some give and take will have to be done, or else this will linger on for next 1000 years. As a Indian, I value the life of each of my Israeli brother, solution is not status quo, even if you crush hamas today, and buy time, deterrence wont be achieved in next 20-30 years the same thing will happen again, how do you wash your hands off them and hold them accountable. Not possible till the other is not a country and you dont have a wide enough buffer zone, no mans land. Dont be responsible for them and leave them to their own peril, stop this job permit nonsense. Yes they want river to sea, giving them jobs wont convert them either. Do this kind of setup, have India, Saudi, USA and other big players in region etc as guarantor on signed doc deal of 2 state solution. Everyone sick of these actors actions, make it a nation, brings accountability/sanctions rules etc and having a large pool of guarantors curtail terror and kidnap type actions in future, as action can be collective.
