Good camera view.
Great video I bet the Honda driver was buzzing. You can see the advantages for the V8 on the brakes and with the NA response and RWD on corner exit. Fast Honda though 👍

Shit.
What components does this share with a Honda prelude? The badge?
weight reduction, bigger turbo to say the least.
The rear quarter panels
the roof maybe?
Yeah, good point. Coz that supercar is 100% holden parts. LOL
The chassis? The engine block? You know, the major parts@@slowlearner984
Looked great too!
First time I've seen a 4 banger and a V8 switch roles.
Tht was awesome. Honda’s rule. Ya need a rear cam to
I thought it would of done a bit better under brakes and carried a bit more corner speed absolutely butchered the start don't know if it was lack of torque boost issue or driver error but it was always going to be hard to come back from that. Nice drive apart from that. Cheers.
V8 Supercars are the ONLY racecar specifically designed to smash / hop the kerbs the way that they do. You'll notice the camera car taking a much 'cleaner' racing line avoiding the larger sausage kerbs whereas the supercar, often on 2 wheels, attacks them very aggressively. This is why the Supercar can carry more corner-in speed
@@xBrokenR32 Fair call
Outside of them getting binned, this was one of the few times it was interesting watching a V8 Supercar
@@Carhazyyeah I would rather watch street stock at my local dirt track than most of the top categories they are running these days. It's good to see this channel giving some of the more accessible classes of racing some air time.
Looked a bit stiff up front to me, I was expecting the lighter car to be better on entry too. Looks like he was spinning up a lot at the start. It's got a lot of potential for sure, everything's there.
Is the engine in the passenger side pod??.... puts the weight perfectly balanced if so.... and then RWD. Guessing it should be 600kg's lighter than the V8 supercar too so it should kill the V8's on braking and handling. A few more brave pills to dive up the inside 😃😃
😜👍🇦🇺
The title is clickbait. Intimidating V8s is like Mark Skaife and Jim Richards in their GT-R back in the 90s. The Honda is nowhere close to repeating that era.
Did you not watch the video??? Can't say the V8s were getting away from him too much.
@@danielmcgregor8528 Tight close racing doesn't equate to intimidation. One round a piece to the V8 and to the Honda followed by a second place for the Honda is more like it (although I'd hesitate to say 1st place to the Honda but I know those spectators who were intimidating to Jim Richards might be reading).
Mmmm….from here it looks like the little Honda gave ‘em a good run for the dough!
@@sharkybrown6226 from here it looks like the little Honda is anything but on a shoe string budget. Mandatory roll cage aside, everything from the gearbox, ecu, odometer, etc are anything but close to straight from the factory.
Yes, supercar antics are being copied by amateurs who really need to calm down.
Who is driving this little beast?
I think it might be Brett Dickie.
