Visiting the Devil's Pulpit!

The Legend and Folklore of The Devil’s Pulpit is very interesting!
The real name of the gorge is Finnich Glen, although, most call it ‘The Devil’s Pulpit’.
This rock is said to be where the devil would stand and address his followers as the red waters swirled under his feet.
There are also tales of Druids holding secret meetings here and others tell stories of witches using the rock as a place to cast spells!
If you plan to visit please do so with careful planning and respect for the environment! It is such a beautiful site to visit, especially on a lovely summer day!
