Clara you did amazing!!! You are an amazing rider! Thoroughbreds do sweat a lot! I used to ride a thoroughbred and he would be so sweaty after our ride! I also love hanging around the horses! They are just so fun to be around!! I can’t wait to see what you do in the future with your riding but I know what ever you do it is going to be absolutely amazing!! You are doing so well I can’t even begin to describe how amazing you are doing!! Being more relaxed and confident on sensitive horses will become easier!! I personally prefer more sensitive horses because they are just a little bit more responsive and they are just the sweetest horses (I also might be biased because my heart horse was very sensitive)!! I can’t wait to see what you do with your riding!! I also can’t wait to see you jumping bigger and becoming stronger in your jumping!! You are an amazing rider and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise! You are just amazing!! Believe me when I say that you are going to go so far in your riding and you going to look back at all these videos and be so happy that you kept trying even when it was super hard! Stick with riding cause you will be an amazing rider in the future! You are an amazing rider right now but you’re going to be an incredible one!! I believe in you! Keep up the great work Clara!! ♥️♥️
I just love how there’s a pig sitting in the middle of the arena 😂 I totally feel the thoroughbreds overjumping. I was jumping my trainer’s OTTB and we were doing about 2’ but she was taking some of them as almost a meter 😂
I KNEW IT WAS GONNA BE PUMPKIN PIEE! ❤ I’m so happy to see her! You haven’t ridden her in ages! I’ve never actually sat on a chestnut horse, I’ve only ridden dark bays, bays, greys, duns and black and white paints. ❤😀
First. Hi Clara I had my lesson two days ago and I cantered for my third time on my own and I trotted three jumps in a row love your videos have a great lesson! ❤️
My horse does that exact thing too! I my horse also used to pick up the wrong lead but instead of the right lead it was the left lead that picked up the wrong lead! I would also have to pick the canter in the corner to make him have the correct lead! But now he doesn’t do that since I stretched him everyday!
Hi Clara !!!!❤ I’m here to ask where you ride ? I’m looking for new barns and what days do you go and times ? As well as if they take riders who jump 2’7ft ? Your riding is so beautiful if this request sounds Werid I know lol 😂 I’m just looking for new barns ❤
You did amazing Clara! It’s been too long since we last saw Pumpkin ☹️ But like omg can I have your eqqqqq?? They were amazing jumps you did!! And today I was at my first ever horse show (bolesworth) I did loads of shopping and it was sm funnnnnn ❤ oh and I can relate to the I would do anything if horses were there! Even the mucking out 😂
At my barn there is 4 groups, little equestrians (littler kids/less experienced), Halter club (walk/trot), Saddle club (Walk/Trot/Canter), and Bridle club (Walk/Trot/Canter/Jumping). I'm in Saddle club, but we also have private lessons, and when I do that, I jump. And a girl in my group CAN canter, but she always doesn't because of confidence problems. It inconveniences all the other people in my group. I think she needs to go into Halter club to learn how to get more confident and learn how to canter confidently in a group. But she is 14 and is quite a bit bigger than all the other kids in Halter club so I think that's the reason why she isn't in Halter club. Also, I am not fat shaming her it's just that most of the kids in Halter club's age range from like 9-12 so yes, she is bigger than them, and it probably would be embarrassing. But we are working with large animals that are more than capable of severely injuring us or killing us. So, I feel like safety is more important than being embarrassed. I KNOW IT'S NOT REALLY RELATING TO THIS VIDEO I'M JUST KINDA VENTING BECAUSE IT ANNOYS ME. Also, you're doing great!
I know what you mean! But riding is grouped by skill not age most of the time! I am a lot older than most of the girls in my lesson, and you could see that as embarrassing but I just started riding later in life and we’re all here to learn how to ride so I don’t mind ! She should definitely consider moving down to halter club regardless of the age or size of the other kids until she’s ready to move up!
@@RidewithClara Hii, yes, I think she should move down or consider a couple private lessons to improve her confidence, on Sunday she cantered for the first time, but I still think she needs to work on confidence, her parents never watch her ride, so I think that's an issue because they don't know what's going on, therefore won't move her down
Fun fact! If you do sitting canter and you look at your nees you can tell what your lead is! If your right nee is more forward then you are on your right lead and if your left nee is more forward then you are on your left lead!
@ElliottCola24 Yes I was taught to compare both legs and the one reaching out furthest is the lead they are on! Sometimes it can be hard to tell when they’re moving and there pressure to see it quickly !! Aha
Hiii pumpkin is so cute! Oh and also I wanted to ask if you have tried to use spurs? Sometimes it’s beneficial for you and sometimes the horse so instead of using the whip u use a little small press with the spurs it also helps with balance hope it helps!❤
i fell of a horse today cuz she galloped in a small arena a horse kicked her and then she decked me lol im feeling better tho and after they put me on bear the horse i feel most safe on and i got to jump him
awww tysm i was proud of myself tbh lol the horse i fell off was a ex polo pony but it wasn’t her fault she just thought i was ready to gallop i would if not in the small ish arena lol ty tho it means a lot
I ride a horse called titch irl who is so cheeky and I’m starting to believe is an ex dressage pony 😂😂 because he scares me to death when we canter as he puts his head down really quickly and I’m like OH SHOOT PLEASE DONT BUCK!
Hi I ride a Pony named Blanca and a Horse named Cuore and With Blanca I am going to start canter in to a vertical jump and with Cuore i am going to start jumping higher like 50-60 cm
For me at the start you could make her or him (I forget) a bit faster and you could give him a little tap on the butt just to go faster but still your an amazing rider!
Clara you did amazing!!! You are an amazing rider! Thoroughbreds do sweat a lot! I used to ride a thoroughbred and he would be so sweaty after our ride! I also love hanging around the horses! I cannot say sadly , for privacy reasons but if your barn is located in Ontario that’s fine with me !❤

If you do sitting canter and you look at your nees you can tell what your lead is!
If your right nee is more forward then you are on your right lead and if your left nee is more forward then you are on your left lead!
If you can’t even spell knee then your wrong

@@RidewithClara ya it’s like your trying to focus on your speed and corners but then your also trying to find your lead and ya it’s hard lol
@@Ameliathehorselover2 I know how to it’s I first spelled it wrong from typing so fast and I guess it didn’t change nees to knees so
Hiii pumpkin is so cute! Oh and also I wanted to ask if you have tried to use spurs? Sometimes it’s beneficial for you and sometimes the horse so instead of using the whip u use a little small press with the spurs it also helps with balance hope it helps!❤
I’ve never tried spurs ! I’m not totally sure if my trainer would approve us wearing spurs !! ❤️
clara posted!!!
I hope you liked the video ! 🥰
Always Exited for a new video!❤

Does Pumpkin do that head shaking a lot? This is the first time I noticed so I was just wondering!

Nice job when I did my first show I was cantering and my saddle fell off along with me I still had the 50cm to go (10 cm higher) but cg
@lilly_lils aww it’s never fun falling off!! But congrats for getting back on! I know that took courage 🥰

Aw thanks so much!! He’s basically like my trainers dog 😂 he just goes and does whatever he pleases !! Haha
I love how you called Pumpkin a "Skinny Queen"

SOO much 😂
lol I’m a little curious what camera do you use?
I think GoPro hero 10
Ty
I use the hero9 black GoPro !
This is no hate but at 6:40 try to make pumpkin go down the middle and not the edge of the pole just so he or she doesn’t hurt him or her self 😊
Thank you !
@@RidewithClara and (I think but I also don’t think) in shows you if you go down the middle of the jump or whatever it counts as more points!
what go pro do you use?
I use the hero9 black GoPro !
