I feel like I'm the only person that actually LIKES the colors of this figure. Maybe I'm just happy that its a great figure and the colors are "good enough" for my taste.

supergeno128ds honestly if the blue looked actually like it does in most of vangelus video people would of liked the colors much better
I like his colors, I just like LG Blurr's coloring better. That being said, I do prefer Hasblurr's transparent blue canope as opposed to the fully transparent one on the TAKARA version, which I do feel is a bit pricey for a fancily painted Deluxe figure. Ultimately, I'm perfectly happy with my Hasblurr, although I plan to eventually repaint him to look more like his Marvel Comics iteration.
It's also not nearly as green as his editing makes it seem. It's somewhere in the middle, leans more towards the blue side of turquoise.
Yeah, I noticed that too. Reminds me of the colors of an RGZ-95 ReZEL Gundam model except with a glossy finish.

1:56 you had the cockpit too low, you can actually have it stream line with the nose koan & still have the seat fold forward to make a nice wall for the little head master. :)

I thought painted Titan Masters were a Takara only thing.

The back of the seat seems to have a shape sculpted in that is seemingly begging for an Autobot insignia reprolabel.
FYI this guy makes a great base for a G1 Chromia, even if you just want to swap faceplates rather than heavily rework stuff to approximate her proper Cybertronian Soccermom-van.
The colors might be better on Takara's version, but the price tag is better on Hasbro's version. I'm a teacher, and for me, price trumps all.
If the figure actually was colored like that I might have considered getting it, but for now deluxe generations blurr will do
I like to switch Blur's and Brainstorm's nosecones/sleds and pretend Blur is one of those land speed record breaking cars.

If you have 2 Blurr figures you can attach both nose/shields on the sides of 1 of the alt modes & it looks like the Maraj from SilverHawks

Cool review as always Van. I had to do some of my own painting to this mold, but there is still a small part of me that wishes I'd waited on Takara.
It feels like forever since you've made any TR stuff. I hope to see more within the next moon cycle.
Hey you got it to look green! Somewhat.
I don't mind the shade, it's wrong, but I like that greenish blue...BUT NOT THAT MUCH! What baffles me is that there IS a little paint on it, but it is like half a shade darker!

I actually feel the opposite here, I find him better looking in hand than in photos. I could go for the LG version, as it has a very faithful G1 paintjob but I wouldn't spend that much more (about 2-2.5x the NA price) for paintjob alone. I just painted his hands gray, his jet boosters metallic gray, and his footpads chrome and it makes a helluva lot difference.
I actually prefer how his colors look in person...

I've got this and I'd love to get the Takara one but yeah I'm not paying that much for it since I'm broke.

Is it just me, or does it look like there's supposed to be an Autobot insignia at the top of the cockpit's seat when he's in robot mode?
I painted mine with a fluorescent red Gundam marker. It looks pretty good, though I'm not brave enough to attempt painting the details.
8-Bit Squirrel There is. The Takara version has one there.
It looks incredibly stupid there, however.

get the Takara version. The colors on the Hasbro one are horrible, being two shades of the same blue.

Does your camera have a white balance function? you may be able to fix the color accuracy that way.
I spent like half a day making sure my temperatures were matched up between the lights and camera before deciding to just move on to the next vids, haha
