@@TyffanyHowardi had to get to age 50 to fully get that message into my system and so glad i’m finally at this point! Trying to teach it to my daughter now. ❤
After reading some of the comments, it seems some people have misunderstood my message. This video is a response to a video I saw of a Black woman talking about this country not loving us, Black people. Also, I saw an interview with Paola Ramos on Democracy Now discussing her book, "Defectors: The Rise of the Latino Right." Based on these two things, I decided to record this video to tell Black people and any other group of people who have a need for this country to love them that they must love themselves. Apparently, some of you are confused by the message and are not totally informed and just reacted. It may not be you, but many people have a need to be loved by the person, parent, child, friend, abuser, and even a country that doesn't show them love. MY MESSAGE is still, "I" don't need this country to love me because I love myself. God/Goddess loves me. I live in the country, but I don't consider this my country. I don't care. That's my point. I know who I am. Peace and love to and for ALL sentient beings!
Hello Tyffany, I'm European and here we often notice that there is never question about struggle of classes, social classes in the usa. But here we know a lot of similar issues in our societies, that's why some people say 'our billionaries and milionnaries, by buying all the medias here, make everything to convice people who have thouthands that the problems come from people who only have some hundreds or less...' and these last ones, not only but frequently are from foreign families. And there is something really scarry coming up here with fascist tendencies... But life is always a dance with opposite forces and we must chose our camp, the one with compassion and understanding, brotherhood or sisterhood... all of that
Hi Lisa! I agree there are similarities in the US and European political/social dynamics. We've had fascism in before, and it's making a comeback. For most people, it is scary. However, we are not helpless beings; we have the ability to respond. Yes, we must always choose compassion, understanding, brother and sisterhood, and all of that. I appreciate you leaving a comment! May we humans all move through these difficult times of our evolutionary process.
THIS IS A UNIVERSAL MESSAGE FOR ALL CITIZENS OF THIS COUNTRY! No America is not perfect but regardless of your race... specifically Black men and Black women.... AMERICA IS OURS...we are Black Indigenous people of this land!! Rewrite the narrative...take ownership...love yourself and make America great for BLACK PEOPLE GENERATIONS TO COME!!
You are America...also born and raise here like white Americans..like former mayor of chicago Harold Washington said, ...this is your country You don't have to slip around like a peon...
No, ma'am. I have not seen one video where Black women are lamenting that America or other groups don't love us. And I have been unfortunately sucked into social media, so I have seen many, many videos. What I have seen is Black women lamenting about racism, and being rightfully fearful what is to come next in terms of our physical and mental well-being. Those are legitimate concerns, and I am not arguing with anyone.
I'm not arguing with you or anyone. The are roughly 3.9 billion videos on YT and 826 million shorts and you have seen all of them. Just because you haven't seen any videos where a Black woman was lamenting about this country not loving us doesn't mean it don't exist. I have and that's why I responded with this video. Also, I watched an interview with Paola Ramos discussing her book, "Defectors: The Rise of the Latino Right," and that many Latinos don't want to be associated with Black people; they want to be accepted by this country. So my message, to any and all people who have the "need to belong, to be accepted and to be loved" by this country is - to love yourself. It seems you reacted and didn't consider that you don't know everything or have all the information. Those concerns you listed are legitimate.
👰🏿♀💇🏿♀💆🏿♀Black Women have either been President or Prime Minister in the following countries: Liberia Tanzania Ethiopia Barbados Gabon Congo Central African Republic Rwanda Senegal Sao Tome and Princia Jamaica Haiti Trinidad and Tobago So why are we really so upset when a majority European American country says no to us, is it that we value their acceptance over our own people???💪🏿 If you want the priveleges and benefits of being in the majority, you must go to where you are the majority! if you are living in a country where not a single bill of currency looks like you, then you are in the wrong place to seriously expect those things! I know many of you have been conditioned to believe you are too good to be part of a black Nation, well how is that belief been working out for you the last 400 years? 🤟🏿 This country is not a place for African Americans to feel hurt because they did not win the presidency, Obama's win was a pure miracle. Think about this no other European country has ever elected and African/black to being their president! The same goes for Asian countries✍🏿
You make some great points. People's pain and feelings are their pain and feelings and they have a right to be upset. However, I'm not hurt or upset about the election results. My source is God/Goddess. Because, I know that I am the captain of my ship, my spirits are high.
Girl! Quit whining, who cares if a stranger loves them or not. I know I don't and it shouldn't bother you to the point of posting it on social media. Stoo seeking validation from others. Be content woth receiving love from Gid and yourself, every other source of love is a bonus. You will find it easier to live without ao much disappointment and hate. And it will be easier also to project positive energy, you need it. We mist still live in the world.
GOD BLESS
