Take away whether they fit the song or not, the purpose of there being different featured artists is to bring variation of interpretation and style to the song each time its performed. Epik High is a genius group and I think that in order to prevent a generic performance each time, they have artists with varying styles to make the song that they constantly perform unconventional. Happen Ending is about having a hopeless view on love after a failed relationship. I feel that the featured artists all brought an a unique emotion in relation to the message to the song. Soohyun with her pure youthful voice brings back that feeling of how strong of a conviction you have in love when you were younger before the hurt that comes after experiencing it. HI gives off that drowning depression in the midst of the breakup. Minzy kind of gives that empty grudingingly given acceptance. Younha brings that tranquil feeling of true acceptance after the breakup. They all brought something special to the song. Also, is no one just happy Younha is with them again? I love her so much. Especially when she features with Epik High. She's like Leessang's Jung In. Epik High's go to feature artist.
I'm the happiest Younha fan! XD. Talking about different feels, 2007 Younha gave different vibes from current 2014 Younha. Her voice used to be more tomboyish and rich. Now it's more mature and ringing. I wish Epik High would explain how each type of voice speaks to them. (prob Tablo would grab the mic but the rest could have a say lol) Oh and FYI, Younha got introduced as 4th member of Epik High during their recent concert, prob just to commemorate their closeness and sturdy collaborations. XD but hey nothing that is new to us lol. She sang "Love Love Love" again during the concert.

Younha brought something new, she's more dramatic and her expressions were totally connected to the song, also she looks more adult/confident which goes well with Epik High' style. But Epik High's featuring of many different female singers for this song always has me coming back wanting to hear how each of them change the style. Epik High's playing a really good strategy, especially for those who always want to hear how a song could change and project a different vibe each time.
