Carrot Topping & Plug Cutting Machine - TTP1

This video shows the Topping, Tailing and Plugging cutting machine - TTP1. The machine is suitable for dehulling and cutting into even-sized pieces of elongated produce such as carrots, cucumbers, leeks, parsnips, spring onion and zucchini.
This machine consists of a flat belt that feeds the products and a belt on which the products are transported by flights for cutting. The products are placed between the flights. From here they go to the first round knife. This knife ensures that the products are deheaded. The size of the topping can be adjusted with the guide from 0 to 40mm. After this, the products are transported to the next set of round knives that are used for cutting the products to size.
It is optional to add an additional round blade to cut different sizes. Along with the cutting unit, the machine's conveyors come on an undercarriage that has a waste chute for disposal of the heads. A hygienic control cabinet is included.
It is possible to equip this machine with two belts including flights on either side of the flat belt with another extra wide cutting unit. This can double the capacity. The machine is suitable for products with a diameter up to 85mm and a product length up to 450mm.
