With the planes....people need to talk about the trains. The infrastructure is crumbling. The amount of toxic chemicals carrying trains that travel through major cities and have crashed, blown up and polluted the water systems and air in the past 4 years is crazy. People should be up in arms.

I’m in the industry have been for 10+ years. Flight attendant and pilot families are covered in the event of something happening that leads to severe injury or worse. The coverage varies depending on the company they work for. The average “insurance” plan for crews are around 500k.

American Greed on NBC aired an episode titled “Boeing’s Deadly Design” in 2022. I recommend everyone to to watch that. Mind you, the episode aired in 2022 so they probably filmed everything well before. But very interesting nonetheless.
I think most of us in the manufacturing industry can attest to that "production over safety" mindset, coming down from corporate decision makers. Im curious if its exclusive to passenger planes, or if they've had issues with any govt contracted aircraft. 👀
