I was expecting some minor buffs and something for df 2 because that move in its current state makes no sense for character like Steve who's supposed to be king of counter hits. But yea, we got hit by yet another set of nerfs, nothing major but it's slightly annoying imo

You're such a noble competitor, dude. Some opponent plays a sick round and gets a perfect and you put it into your videos. Not just clip after clip of you beating your opponents like they're training dummies. I really respect you for that.

Sick, Nemesis is a legend, he plays so many characters so good. i just play king only (and just for fun), but i would like to be able playing steve, eliza etc :D
Recently took a look at Steve in practice because I was thinking of picking him up. Boy I have a lot to learn, and not just his moves but how tf to play with him considering how much everything is high-mid and there's like 3 lows I can use lol
I’m sorry if you already know this but to answer your question Steve is a counter puncher. You have great evasion, timing mix ups, and armored moves that allow you to capitalize on reads. He’s a little hard because you need to be able to find the patterns in your opponents games, but very rewarding. Hope you have a great time!
@@Take-Command yeah, I play Leo and Josie who capitalize off of my opponents mistakes so I always condition them first to get them to move how I want. Hopefully I'll figure out first-hit counter-hitting instead of just punishing minus frames during strings
@@Take-Command He's way more than a little hard lmao. His mix ups are also pretty weak and his power crush is mediocre. It's impressive how wrong you are about the char.
Rage art is kind of armor parry that Devil Jin, Kazumi, and Gigas have. In perspective I see Steve just parry Aliza with his rage art, during rage art there's armor there.
Every time I play against a Mishima (be it Jin, Kazuya or Heihachi) and Steve, I feel nothing but respect for the opponent whenever I lose. Unbelievable level of play right there bruv.

I'm such a huge fan of Mike Tyson so playing Steve in Tekken is amazing for me. I feel like the baddest man on the planet throwing them hands like that haha.
That last video sequence with a split moment of invincibility remainds me of street fighter's akuma's "shun goku satsu" ultimate, once triggered, your basically finished. I could be overreacting but if Steve's finisher is that broken (or op), they might have to either tone it down some or replace it in tekken 8.
My only reason for despising this character with every fiber of what makes my being… is simply because I lack the execution to learn him and the ironic thing is… I can play every character (except Gouki & Geese) but I would trade all that knowledge to pick up Steve fucking Fox!

Steve is notorious for he’s ultra fast whiff recovery so taking away 2 frames from one of he’s moves doesn’t sound like a big deal

The answer is yes
I'd rather have Steve be the best character in the game but really difficult to play than 2D
Easy, he fast, but no footy
Tekken now became one of the best BOXING game series thanks to Steve.

That rage art was cheeky and smart to do. Wp. Steve main here :)
@GrinningSlim It's a mechanic in the game intended for use, so how exactly is it cheap?
Ive watched you be a beast with multiple characters and you have earned this sub good sir.
thanks bro😊
steve has received a lot of nerfs and it would take just as many to make it balanced. especially on ob and on whiff openings
Steve was never unbalanced. There's nothing special about his moves oB as well.
steve is a short range fighter but its easy for him to close the distance and once he is in range he's almost unstoppable, its why i love using him

When life gets depressing but then you stumble upon this recommendation with Tekken 4 announcer in Tekken 7. 😯

only elite players
Steve was always a character for the worthy ones. He isn't strong, tho.
