Yes, your video title caught my interest and not skip it! Nice move👍 If I were to open up a business anywhere, I would also think of a cafe, esp. I love coffee, but I would make my menu to have gluten-free option for pastries, bread, pasta , etc. and that should be easy in PI. with rice and corn being staple (no wheat for me). Have all around menu options for everyone - i.e. vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, meat/fish; cater to your target market/area population. It’s great, you’ve done your preliminaries. Excited to see the progress👏

Stas, it is a very good idea to open up a vegetarian cafe in Kaputian with Vitaly and some of your Filipino friends as investors. When I come to Samal someday, I will be your first out of town customer. I am a vegetarian and living in Butuan City and there is only one vegetarian cafe-restaurant here.😮

I am from food industry. It is one of the most saturated industry. Vegetarian cafe is very niche - when you look at Russian population in Samal, it can barely support your business. Filipinos are rarely vegetarian. Vegetables are easily accessible also in Samal - they can have vegetables in their backyard, why would they visit your place. Think of something else or just make it available only for delivery - this way, you will not need to rent out a space.

What about a Jolibeec and Chow King inspired menus and maybe a Karaoke Bar or Live Music performing at certain time of the day of the week? A Guitar,PoolTable, Picturebooth, chess, and dart corner will attract customers also

Try because there' no harm of trying. In business,do not expect that in your first venture, you succeed sometimes you failed because of mismanagement..Try to attend seminars on how to handle small but good business. I wish your success.God bless you.

You can put up Cafe maybe look for another location.
    More people or near 7/11
    1. Filipino loves meat at home we always cooked veggies.
But if you cook foods make 2 option, half vegetarian and half meat section.
    2. Add Milk tea, Sikwati and Special Coffee
    3. Choose nice color of your shop but affordable price.
    4. You can make Vegetarian burger/crepes.
    5. Add Filipino kakanin.

🌹I’m pretty sure many Russians look for a restaurant that serves food from their country. It will provide a taste of home, familiar flavors, and a connection to their culture, allowing them to experience a piece of their heritage even when living abroad or just visiting. It’s a way to feel more connected to their roots through food. I can relate to that where I’m at. And also many foreigners have a hard time finding restaurants that cater to vegetarians with more selections in some places out there. I believe your business venture will be good to try. You can’t win for not fighting. Think positive and stay on top of what you want to accomplish! My two cents. Best wishes🙏🏼

So, you're going to launch a Russian cafeteria in Kaputian now? Wow, that's impressive and a huge leap! My advise, start small -get the feel of the area and location - like wading your foot in the water if the temperature is right to your touch. Based on your opening statement, you sound very optimistic about the prospect vegetarian eatery. You said, you have a marketing background - living in small town, marketing strategy might help, might not. I suppose you will be posting a lot on youtube about the cafe's progress. Anyway, starting a business is a great way to make use of your free time, turning your passion about vegetarian food into a business deal and make some extra cash along the way - why not! You said, the place you've selected used to be a store or cafeteria - find out why their business failed to give you an idea what went wrong - is it mismanaged or something else. If you're into vegetarian cookery, make use of nuts as your flavoring - roast them first and grind and add the ground nuts in your sauce. I wish you luck!

Lumpia ubud, lumpia gulay or toge, vegetarian okoy, pancit, tortang talong (eggplant omelette). These I think are easy to convert to vegetarian, just substitute the meat w tofu (toge).

Wow it is going to be nice. I will go there right away in your cafe. Please make the snacks like a Filipino-Russian fusion of snacks or food, it is going to be great. Introduce Russian snacks and foods to the world. And also, build more simple rental houses in your land, owned or leased like in the Russian village with Denis and invite more Russians, show them the Samal islands' best places to offer for adventures like green mountains, beautiful waterfalls, green fields, rivers, beautiful beaches so that more Russians will come, not only Russians but also Central Asia like the Kazakhs and Europeans. Keep it up guys. I'm sooo excited for your coffee business my friend. By the way, the famous Master Chef Gordon Ramsey also opened tye Gordon Ramsey Bar and Grill in Newport City Reaorts World in Manila near the airport and Mall of Asia. By the way, before you put up a business, visit first famous tourist spots like Siargao also an island and ask business owners there how to start up cafe, cake and pastries and snacks in the Philippines, but the difference is yours have this Filipino-Russian fusion which is first in Asia and in the Philippines. Your advantage from other locations is that you are very very near to the most affordable fruit markets around the Philippines which is Davao and Samal island. Follow this business in Siargao, the name is Shaka. It is a cafe and resto and they serve fruit smoothies in their place, like very very delicious smoothies, and Davao have lots and lots of different varieties of fruits and you have this huge advantage. Your location in Kaputian is perfect. And also, imagine when Davao to Samal.island bridge is finished, for sure the very famous Casino beach resort will open again there in Samal.island and more rich tourists will come. Please make more Russian businesses in the Philippines, soon it will expand to huge malls around the Philippines. Cheers! ✨💖💖💖💐🎉🌿🌴🎇🥂

Note: Some ingredients are available in Lazada like Tabon-Tabon (one of my favorite ingredients). Some ingredients are also "seasonal."
"Farm-to-Table Concept" is always the best resto concept in the 21st century. Middle Class to High End Market are the ones that can afford this kind of vegetarian / vegan dishes, especially if the ambiance is "al fresco," has expansive green landscape, a vegetable garden nearby, an orchard (fruit trees) or overlooking an ocean.

Hello,! Filipinos love to eat meat. However you can probably entice them to eat vegetarian food by serving popular Filipino food. You can include in your ads the health benefits of being a vegetarian and also a choice for weight watchers.
My husband and I have been lacto-vegetarians since the 90s and are Filipinos living in Canada. We do not eat eggs but we would have milk and cheese. I cook vegetarian pancit, vegetable lumpia, adobo (tofu and potatoes or eggplant adobo), aroz caldo, sinigang , kari-kari , tinola, afritada or menudo using tofu instead of meat. The secret to the great taste is that I always use 1 heaping teaspoon of dried vegetable broth or “Vegeta” food seasoning (dehydrated vegetable broth without MSG) on every food I cook. I also make tofu tocino, using the tocino mix and soy sauce. I cook spaghetti with meatless mock beef, udon soup, macaroni salad using avocado mayonnaise from the store but you can make homemade tofu mayonnaise .You can also make tofu scramble, similar to scrambled eggs, but using soft tofu that are mashed and add turmeric spice for the yellow color. If you have nutritional yeast, it gives a cheesy flavor. I make a sandwich with fried tofu or fried eggplant.or avocado. I also make stuffed eggplant similar to rellyenong talong but without meat or eggs… I use mashed tofu, red peppers and mushrooms, veg seasoning and top it with breadcrumbs. I use diluted corstarch for thickening I hope these suggestions help.

Lets pray vice president sara Duterte will become the next president of the Philippines. It is because, she is from Davao , and I am sure, she will make this place her priority. That includes Samal and the Russian local community It will be easy for you to make business there, because you are a great help for the economy of Davao and the whole Philippines, of course. This will be a Russian vacation place especially during the extreme cold season.
