I've had a Note phone for 3 generations but you had some settings I didn't even know. The one most useful for me was the use of S pen during gboard typing.

Thanks for a very informative vide! I just got my phone today,and your video has been invaluable. I do have one question though. I have set it up so that long pressing the power button will go to the phone turn off button, which I got off your video and is great. But now, when I try to take a screen shot (volume down + power button), it won't take a screen shot. Do you have any way around this? Or more likely, am I doing something wrong?
is there any way of TURNING OFF the double tap requirement, as well then using PIN for security which I prefer?

Just open Keyboard and hit the settings cog and you will see options to make it smaller

Have you ever run into this problem? On my note 10+ when using a non Samsung bluetooth ear buds the phone will ring on both the phone and my ear buds but text messages only through my buds not the phone. I want it to do both. If you can help thanks.

Hi, I just received my new Galaxy Note 10+ however, at 5.40min my phone does not have the "Show control on top" to move the brightness setting to the top of the screen. I got this phone from my telco company Singtel which is one of two major telco in Singapore. Am I getting short change or Samsung sells phones to major telco with some functions removed for greater profits or request from the telcos for cheaper phones?

Hello. This is a longshot that my question will be seen but I have the 10+ and just downloaded the Gboard. I can't find the Google Handwriting Input app. There are a ton of apps but none that say exactly that. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you and I am learning so much from your videos.

I want know how to move the brightness bar to the top. I'm in One UI 2 and that option didn't show up.
Found the solution!
Solution: I found the option on One UI 2. Open the notification bar all the way. Instead of going to the arrow in the brightness bar, tap the 3 dots and then choose "Quick panel layout" and it will be right there.

With the facial recognition on the note 9 it would auto unlock without having to swipe to unlock. I notice with the 10+ you have to swipe. Is there a way to auto unlock like with the fingerprint?
That can be turned off. It is a setting called Stay on Lock Screen and when off it just goes to the home screen. Thanks for pointing that out.

Got mine a week ago my only grip coming from an iPhone is the notifications dont turn on my display 100% of the time. I turned on the setting for it and it works for the first few notifications and after that notifications stop turning on my screen. I only get the vibration.
How many of these are specific to the Note 10 vs other Galaxy devices running the same OS?

Always on display doesn't cause burn in issues? I bought the galaxy note 10, and I've seen online some people showing problems with their display.

can you or someone please tell me how do I get the split screen on my note10+? I tried what I hared on some youtube videos so far but to no avail. basically they say press the recent key then choos split screen view for whatever app you select, then repeet the process to openn another app in a separate window. when I pressed the recent key however, all I got is a screen with few recently opened apps on. I pressed the advanced options button but the choices there were: app info, change aspect raceo, and lock app> I pressed change aspect raceo but all I got was a message saying "apps configured to run in full screen can not be changed. the apps I experimented with were set to auto. I verifyed that from the display menu under the item "choos which apps you want to run in ful screen".I even tried the more options menu, but there was nothing ther either about split screen view.

After you hit the recent key, tap the app icon in the middle at the top of the app cards. It'll give you the option to open in split screen view.

Having made that clear, when you say "tab the Icon in the middle of the top of the App cards, are you talking about the button labled "advanced options"? Because as I mentioned in my initial comment I did tab that but to no avail.

If that doesn't fix it, try a different charger and possibly take it into a repair center and see what they say.
You do not have to lock the volume button for media control, because anytime media is playing, the volume buttons will change the media volume anyway, regardless of your using ring on/off. Example, I turn off my Note 10 Plus when I go to bed and back on after I wake up.
Show brightness controls on top is not there for me? Would you know why??

I have a question about the lockscreen video. How do I make the video last longer than 4 seconds on my lockscreen? I noticed the same video that I used is much shorter on the Note 10 than it is on the S10. It seems like the video get cut after 4 seconds when on the S10 plays continuously like a Gif. Also, all my themes with video lockscreen only play for 4 seconds and then the video stops abruptly... please help!
By the way, I love your videos!
The phone locks after 4 seconds if you do not touch the screen. You can tap and swipe a bit on the display to watch the 15 second video.
@@TechWithBrett yes, I am aware of that but the video just stops with the screen still on. I can not watch a 15 seconds video on my Note 10. No problem on my S10. Try on your Note 10 and let me know if you were able to watch the entire 15 seconds
@@TechWithBrett It must be something in my settings that prevents the video to be play for more than 4 seconds even with the screen on. I just can't figure out where or what it is
@@TechWithBrett I finally figured out where the problem is. I use the face unlock feature. As soon as phone stops looking for the face( after about 4 seconds) the video stops as well. As soon as I took out the face unlock feature, the video plays for its entire length. I'm not sure if that's a glitch in ther system or the phone was design that way...

You should have your always on display turned of it causes burn in keep everything off. You should also keep brightness on auto or low that should stop you phone from getting burn in.
