I love watching these so please do more! The burgundy trousers, grey cashmere and black winter coat was my favorite outfit. Because of your wonderful Zara haul video while I was in London recently, I was able to snag the burgundy trousers so I had instant affinity for this outfit. I plan to check out those adorable handbags and totes next. Thank you for always pointing me in the right direction style-wise. Hello Jess. My husband and I happened to be in Bath, England on the day this video was posted. We were visiting England for our first time and absolutely loved it. As you can imagine, our ten hour flight back to Arizona this past Sunday was tiring. I am still trying to revive myself from the time difference. I caught a slight head cold on the flight, but am feeling better. We spent five days in London, two days in Bath and two days in Liverpool. We are so impressed with the Tube system. We became experts by the time we were ready to come back to the states. Our last day was spent in Notting Hill and I convinced my husband to shop along Portobello Rd. I did get to browse the shops of Sezane, Me & Em, and Ba&Sh. We had a delicious pizza lunch at Brasseria. The only item I purchased from our England trip was a beautiful cashmere scarf from Kiltane in Windsor and a t-shirt from Wimbledon Tennis Club. Yes, we did get to tour both Windsor Castle and the tennis club. I love when you share what you wore in a week. Keep these type of videos coming our way. Thanks for listening Jess. Lovely outfits. I like the sort of chocolate ganache/sour cherry colour of the handbag. I am finding the burgundy trend more interesting in accessories than in clothing. Me & Em has a reversible burgundy espresso belt that I am trying not to buy.

There’s a new shirt dress at Sezane that I’ve fallen in love with and that has greens on it. Yeah I’m ok, been do a little more but not been sleeping at night very well, I just keep waking up and have the most awful headaches 🤷🏻♀️ I think it must just be hormones settling. I would go to a really good cobler, well here it would be my cobler Bengt and I am sure he could fix it! He knows how to magicly get worn out shoes, bags etc in leather looking beautiful and almost new 😘 Love that handbag!
You look just as beautiful without makeup, Jess. I love the sweater and silk skirt look, it’s one way I like to wear my many Quince silk skirts, real wardrobe workhorses for me (I can’t wear synthetics).🙂

I love your military jacket. If you ever want to sell it, sell it to me! But, if I were you, I never would, it’s such a great classic. It shows how a slightly masculine cut and details bring out our femininity. These are back on trend this year, I just got a khaki-green cotton one, maybe I’ll wear it today. Here in California, our weather keeps swinging from extremely hot summer temps (100F plus) to cool autumn ones (60s to low 70sF), we never quite know what to expect. This will continue through October, making it difficult to know which season’s clothes to keep accessible. (My wardrobe is a big one, but my bedroom clothes space is tiny, so I can’t keep much there, and my out-of-season storage space is on other floors, inconveniently).
Haha if I ever have a wobble again and want to get rid of it I’ll make sure I give you first refusal;) Transitional dressing is so tricky I know, it’s gained here for the last 24 hours but then my hormones keep playing up and I’m too hot in all my knitwear🤣 Dare I say it but I’m looking forward to it getting properly cold so at least we know what season we’re in! X

Jess, I loved this video! If you want to erase that ink mark, I’d suggest finding the exact pen that was used to make it, then finding an inconspicuous area of the same finish on the leather, and mark it with the same ink. Then you could try experimenting gently with various methods you researched on the Internet. Or… you could try Leather Surgeons or the like. Speed is important, because inks set in more as the stain gets older. 😊

In all seriousness though I do have a pair of (ankle style) Hunter wellies and they're fab, just pair with leggings, a knit and maybe a matching shade with your scarf:) I bet you could find a pair of those on Vinted or similar at the moment x

Hi Jess, I have two Polene bags (No.1 Nano & Cyme Mini) that I was drawn to on your recommendation and absolutely love! I'm now strongly thinking of a Songmont Chocolate in classic black for myself for Christmas although I also love the brown/ burgundy. Would you recommend? I'm also torn between the mini and the small? For the ink stain, try a q-tip with some rubbing alcohol! ( and condition afterwards ) 😊
