I bought Love Letters during the fall release. I'm excited to get into this planner. I've tried lettering challenges several times but never stuck with it. But now I can ne intentional with it.

I have this also. I'm using the Pentel Sign Brush and other pens for different fonts. I'm following Heather Kell's lettering challenge.

@@AmberPlansHerDay i may actually do both. Use the monthly calendar for 1 and perpetual calendar for the other. Its an idea I'm tossing around. May have to see how Ali does hers first.

Excellent video! I ordered this planner and some paper. I am still waiting for it to come from MAMBI. I have horrible handwriting, so I am not sure I will be able to do this. I am going to order the Pentel pens from your link.

I got this and I'm so excited about it! I plan to use it just for practice. I like your review of the Pentels. I have been checking out How To Hand Letter 's UA-cam videos for some time, now. She has a bunch of free printables that I'm planning to use to practice in this planner with. She also sells a course like the others you mentioned.
The Pentel's are my favorites by far! I think they are so perfect for beginners which I so am! I'll have to check out that channel! Thanks for the recommendation too!

I’ve had my LoveLetters since they originally launched. Bought it day 1. Got the filler when it launched too. I’ve been itching to get started in it. My setup video goes up this weekend. Can’t wait for Monday.
I have the same Pentel Sign pens - they are recommended by so many.
I don’t care for tombow bc they are big and they dry out so fast and they are so pricey.

im not sure if you dont know the hype about the tombow dual brush pens but they are one of the highest quality brush pens out there and the colorless blender you are not using it right because you do not grab papermate flair and just put some ink on the tip plus if you did some research about how to blend with a colorless blender you would know how to use it and how to blend the right way .and i consider about subscribing but know i know not to because of your false info about the pens
Thanks for your comment, I took a class from a tombow employee at a pinners conference a few years ago which is where I learned about the dual brush pens, and specifically the blending brush. The reason they aren’t my favorite is because the Brush tip is bigger. I prefer the tombow fundesuke brush pens because I find the harder nib to be easier for me to use! Like I said in my video I gave my tombow dual brush pens to my children because I did not enjoy lettering with them. The only one I had was the colorless blender. I wanted to share how the pen wrote so I did what I could in the time. Everyone definitely has their preferences with brush pens and the dual brush by tombow just isn’t my favorite
Wanted to get this so much, but I already got sooooo much, something had to give. So I will follow along on writing sheets. Right now the plan is to follow #kellofplans challenge & see what I can on this planner.
It's good to know your balance and limit though! that is huge! Writing sheets is also a great idea, I love the filler paper that was released this month. Her challenge will be so fun too!
