Thank you for sharing and i guess that is the most interesting when you are scouting an area and you got a rabbit just like that. Well, it is always nice with a surprise sometimes.
Charlie I absolutely love your rabbit pursuits. So entertaining and rewarding. Coincidentally I am waiting for my potatoes to boil as I am having rabbit and potatoes for supper!!!! Love it buddy. The very best👍
it gets rough out there at times LOL. Ended up chasing the rabbit in a loop twice a little over 100 yards each time. Hard on the old gear ducking under all that limbs climbing into and out of those drainage ditches. Finally got him to sit long enough for me to get the camera rolling and take the shot.
Good adventures Charlie. Really beautiful footage with all the snow in the trees and one more rabbit in the freezer. Great video as always. Thanks for sharing.
I've hunted with this rifle for well over 30 years and took many rabbits, grouse and partridge. Back then my eyes were amazing and I made some incredible shots taking numerous small game 75+ yards with iron sights and no rest. Now 15 yards and I'm pushing my max vision wise without my glasses.
cool vid, great shot and the pot is ready to be put on again eh bud? I got an old Cooey just like that one that I use around the camp. Bought a new Ruger American last year with the rotating mag and a scope but too heavy to be mucking around trapping so stick to the old cooey...most snow over this way has gone to the salt water now and waiting for some new stuff, patiently..................take care
I hear you, the little cooey is hard to beat for size and weight. But a scoped rifle would be nice on the eyes. More of a pain to carry but for every gain there's a loss somewhere.
That seemed like quite the workout Charlie. That's the one rabbit I'd like to go for soon. We have them in Northern Wisconsin, so I'm going to have give it a try for sure.
thank-you... Hard to tell in the video but that chase was on the side of a mountain and the rabbit ended up running his loop twice before I got him to sit long enough to get the camera going and make the shot.
I understand, all side hill and even with snowshoes I was sinking to my knees, climbing into and out of the rain runoff ditches didn't help none. But it was great exercise in the great outdoors.
Coast to coast to coast, the Cooey is still getting it done! Good stuff!👍👍
Oh yes my friend, still straighter then me. LOL

Nice shot Charlie! I had 3 last night in my snares, pulled them up today for the rain tonight and tomorrow.
Congrats and I think that was smart on your part. Hard to compete with Mother Nature...
Wicked shot
It's so beautiful there, it's amazing.
It really is! Thank-you for noticing what many others miss. That's the pure beauty of Nature and everything it has to offer.
Indeed
Good shot Charlie..I love my old Cooey also..I see I am not the only one that looses a snow shoe LOL

Nice video loved it! I had a lot of luck hunting grouse and hares this season, I pretty much get something every time I go in the forest.
Thanks, no better feeling than taking home fresh game for you and your family, congrats my friend.
Nice
Nice adventure there Charlie.
good for the old lungs chasing rabbits up and down the mountain side and into and out of those run-off ditches.
Hey Charlie he made you work for your supper , great vid
yes he did. but that's the kind of outings I need to whip me back in shape
Well done. Great hunt.
thank-you
Agreed
Lots Of Fresh Powder & A Bunny For The Pot, Go Going, Charlie, Stay Safe ! ATB T God Bless
Thanks, you too!
Great video that rabbit certainly made you work for your dinner
Yes indeed, this all happened on the side of a big hill. Chased him in a loop twice before I caught him sitting long enough to get a shot.
Had to watch this again
glad you enjoying the videos my friend
You worked for that one. Just goes to show what a little determination can do. It will be tricky breaking out a few trails with those conditions.
So much work especially with two more milds coming this week. One strange winter.
Yes
Sure is beautiful in the woods there. Best place to be. Hard going in there to get that little bugger. But great reward.
Yes my friend, he made me work hard crawling around that hill side today
Hey ✌️,good stuff.
thank-you, glad you liked it
Watching this 1 again❤❤
Lots of snow again
no worries Kevin more rain coming tonight.
Awesome video Charlie! What part of the island are you from my friend?

@@NLGhostWolf yessir! By South branch ain't it?
Got 'em! --- Love rabbit hunting. ✌Mike.
great exercise that's for sure...
Can't beat the outdoors eh b'y .
You've got that right my friend
I miss home so much
living away is tough especially when your heart is in your home land.
Do you need a trapping liscense to catch the rabbits
you need a small game license to shoot or snare rabbits and grouse
Good hunting! That was some thick shit you were in, Plus your not 20 years old anymore so good huslin.
thank-you... Hard to tell in the video but that chase was on the side of a mountain and the rabbit ended up running his loop twice before I got him to sit long enough to get the camera going and make the shot.
Way to stay after that rabbit buddy!!
thanks Mark
You should do a rabbit hunt and cook
one coming in the near future, might be beaver instead but done the same way.
Nice video bud. Too much work for me though.

We dont have a blade up this way
some night here, we lost power at some point. Pouring down rain here now. Wild Winter...
Bigg difference fro your last vid Wow
No worries brother, another big rain storm coming tonight with very high winds.
I say there 's 1 old dog hunting that rabbit
Hunting rabbits was much easier when I was younger. Still good to know i can cut a rabbit track and chase down the rabbit that made it.
