i love these figures already im old old school last painted in the early 90s lol my claim to fame.. name in back of 1990 golden demon book ..... im a legend hahaha
The Knights are ex-Citadel F9 Feudals. The 'Absolution Squad' were originally play test miniatures for Rogue Trader - using old Citadel 2000AD miniatures as the basis for the sculpts.
Sweet as a lead contaminated nut, thanks for directing me to these ranges, those knights look so decent. "They just don't make them like the did before"- (some do)
So Bryan kept the painted miniatures? When I visited Warhammer World last year I thought they had a poor collection of old stuff. This explains it. I even asked about it but they couldn’t answer. I really need to go to BOYL!
And yes, I would recommend getting along to BOYL when you can. I've been meaning to for years! Foundry also worth a visit in it's own right if you can make it there!
Good question! Middlehammer is probably the sweet spot between the character of oldhammer and the technical quality of newer models. The new stuff is amazing quality and I love that people are still enjoying painting and playing, but it doesn't do it for me.
@@Oldhammerandtongs personally, I like Middlehammer and Newhammer since those are what I'm most familiar with as I haven't been in the hobby for very long admittedly
That's cool stuff.
Isn't it?! I'm in love with all things Foundry!

You're famous, son! If you've got a picture of the model you painted, please do share!
Pleased to meet you, hope you enjoy the minis :-)
Thank you! I love them! Can't wait to get them painted up!
I have a Thorgrim Grudgebearer and the great book of grudges model from the old Warhammer Fantasy and it's unassembled
Wow! Any plans to paint it up?
❤ thank you for this new video and coverage about BOYL mate
Thanks so much, Josh!

Thanks for sharing. What a great tribute to Brian Ansell
Thank you for watching! And yes, it is a brilliant monument to the great man.
I picked up this mini too, but they didn't explain it was Brian. So good to know!
@JuggleDrum I didn't realise at first either! After much squinting I realised that it's him!
What do you think of middlehammer and newhammer models?

What are your thoughts?
