Brainstorm sind ein Urgestein der süddeutschen Metalszene. Bereits seit 1989 zockt die Band aus Gerstetten auf der Ostalb ihren düster angehauchten Power Metal.
Hinter dem Mikro steht seit 1998 Andy B. Franck, der zwischenzeitlich auch bei den von ihm gegründeten Symphorce aktiv war, und ebenfalls bei Victor Smolskis (ex-Rage) Almanac zu hören ist.

Mindestens 3 Band nennen sich Brainstorm. Diese Band hier ist eine Pop-Rock Band aus Lettland. Beim Eurovision Song Contest 2000 belegte die Band den 3. Platz.

I don’t know if these guys do really enjoy to be disguised as metalheads from Southern Germany, but even if so, I think they had their time to enjoy this artistic collective image by now and it’s ok to finally change the description, Rockpalast. what do u think?

Brainstorm is used only when playing abroad , in Latvia their name is ''Prāta vētra'' which actually is the same meaning as ''brainstorm''.
