It makes me happy to see someone who gets to drive some of the most expensive cars in the world enjoying a cheap little Honda. I have the coupe version of that car with 250 hp and it’s a blast to drive. I can’t even imagine it with 360. I have owned all-wheel-drive cars with over 500 hp and I have way more fun with that little Honda than anything else that I’ve owned. Makes me feel like a little kid again lol
I want to buy an ej6 1.6 105 HP, i found a turbo kit for 600$ and i want to know what do i need to change so The engine can hold up like 260-280 hp, i mean what internals, maybe some links :)
@@FrateTelevizor pretty sure the stock internals can handle that, I could be wrong, there are a few forums out there with the same question so I recommend you to visit them.

The reason why I like seeing these old Hondas is because it reminds me of the Prelude I had back then, same generation as this Civic. When I eventually let go of the Prelude, I knew nothing else could replace it and I was right. I also knew some people that owned this type of Civic, standard ones only, & they had nothing but good things to say about them. This content I find way more interesting than say a modern fully modified BMW or Audi with 500 + bhp. Keep it going.
In mainstream car culture people don't know shit about hondas and their engineering. Once you talk to people who actually know about cars they will know hondas are insane.
@@Moonlight-hq3gi They are inferior to euro cars in every aspect except reliability. Don‘t get me wrong i really do love hondas and nothing beats the fun you can have with them but they will never beat any bmw audi etc
honda makes the best manual shifters. Period. If in doubt I suggest to drive even a stock S2000, it is incredible how precise that thing is. And it was not made yesterday, not even ten years ago.
Ali-express turbos can be quite good, just have the shaft balance checked by a local company before installing. You don’t want blown seals or compressor wheel chips in the IC on your first testrun.
98 EJ9 was my first car too. Not one single problem in over 10 years. At 250k kilometers I swapped it to B16 and the internals of the D14 looked like it just came out the factory
You have to try a 500+hp version of these Civics (EP3, EK, EG or even EF), they have a special charm when they are fully done, and usually nutty enthusiasts own them so you can bet any car will have you giggling like a child while doing stupidly sketchy speeds
The first turbo Honda I went in was an EK with 480bhp and it was absolutely insane😂 When you strap a turbo to these hondas, they are a different breed!
Trust me.. the more Hondas you show or any 90s jdm import, you will get views! Because most people have these cars and not everyone cares about a super car
Oh yeah, baby. A 98 cívic with a five speed. What a driving experience. It’s almost difficult to describe how connected to the road you feel in a civic of that era
Hector is going to be running 3 Honda Civics with spoon engines. And on top of that he just came into Harry's and he ordered 3 T66 turbos, with NOS, and a Motec system exhaust. P.s:came from honda s2000 video😁
The rusted bumper holders at the wheel arches are such a 90s Honda thing, without them the car just doesn't have the right character 🤣 Also the horrid chinese tires in the rear are all fun and games until they just break traction for no reason mid-corner and have you countersteering like you're driving a 500hp M3 (don't ask me how I know)
The unfortunate thing with that is that it’s usually the rubber piece that lines the rear wheelwell lip as it holds water and debris, which makes for a knack of where the rust starts. If you get to removing it in time, you have a chance to save the rear quarter panels from the rust as I was lucky on my del Sol and not so lucky on my Accord. Love these cars but the knack for rust does make me quite sad.
Finally a Civic which delivers instead of just having a rabbit hole sized exhaust and nothing else. By the way, you guys should try if you can get your hands on the Boba Motoring VW Golf I with 1052 hp and review it :)
beautiful beast. I would like to see some light start, e.g. with a BMW M3 or similar. Sometimes someone thinks of an old trash and here he would be surprised :)
more honda! MORE HONDA MAX!!!!! This is one of my top 10 cars. And probably the same kind of condition mine would be if I still had one. Would love to see a worked C30 NSX but i guess there's not many around... but if anybody can find one, it's you! love the content as always. cheers
That generation of civic hatch is just perfect. I've always wanted one, but the examples to be found these days need so much work, they've become unaffordable to create an example of what they should be.

damn right, stock honda engines can take crazy power without massive modifications unlike european engines that often need a rebuild
