I've got to say, you're one of the first dudes I've seen that really pulls off the #4... I'd love to look that good with my hair at that length, if I was you I'd probably shave it to a #1 once a month, as low maintenance as can be.

I shaved my head for a while, when I had all my hair! Shaving it to compensate for hairless is a kind of denial. I'm not happy to have less hair now, but I can live with it, and lots of attractive people let me know that they don't mind, either.

I don't get this obsession with men having to go fully bald once their balding becomes obvious, as if being merely balding is a moral failing or something. As long as it's cropped close like this guy or well styled like Jude Law then they can still look good without buzzing off the remaining hair.
It's only when guys are going with a ridiculous combover or a wig or something that it becomes a little embarrassing, but otherwise there are definitely good looks a balding guy can pull off besides fully bald

What bald shaver would you recommend alternatively to the Braun Series 9, I don't really want to be spending £300 on a razor man :(

He's got a thick full dark beard with a full lower lip. I'd say he came out ahead in the hair department.

The bald shave looks better with no beard. The beard the head and also brings more attention to the bald head. A complete shave with a shaved face looks much better.
Does he color his beard? If I try growing a beard it is a lot of gray on the chin.
I have a little gray in the chin but no I do not color it. I guess I just have thick hair in certain places haha

I am on the ugly side subfive around a 4 out of 10 due to a small chin and a negative tilted eye area plus some other bad facial features .I all ready get dirty looks of disgust from women almost constantly for the mere crime of existence. If I lost my hair I would look utterly subhuman 2 out of 10. I would not handle it.
Once you are in a good relationship, this shouldn't matter much. Who cares if other women hate how you look.
I'm going to look soooo ugly with a tight buzz. Esspecially bald. God really hates some people, huh.
Word of advice for those considering taking the plunge - man up, ditch the guard, and shave that shit all the way. While it looks better than before, that in-between look with the guards still doesn't look good. Shave it all the way and it will look great, and you'll never look back.

There was nothing wrong with your hair. Receding a bit and a bit of thinning on the crown. Good for you if it makes you happier but I think you are a prime example of being really bothered about something that you needn't be bothered about...
If you listen to the story he actually wasn’t “really” bothered in this one and it was more an act of practicality and progression.
Plus the real truth is there is absolutely nothing wrong with any balding man’s hair but it is a process you have to make peace with and the way to do it is to get it out on display.
