Sir Tyrone D' Brass has been very crucial in bringing quality education in Garo Hills. His ways and methods cannot be matched.I remember during our board exams he used to come before everyone and have a huddle with us before the paper, during one of the exams one of our student had forgotten to bring her admit card, Sir Tyrone without uttering a word, took his car went to her home and brought the admit card for her. The man is a solid example of compassion and grit. He used to come to different classes and speak of various topics from politics to science to human relationships. His view and vision of the world is way ahead from everyone and that is why everyone has only praises for him. I count it as a blessing to have such a Principal during my school days, his teachings back then hold significant importance and relevance in todays world. He was the first to bring in digital screens to teach us maths , history and science back when youtube was not a thing, he always backed everyone to participate in the numerous sports not to make us sportsmen but to instill a strong spirit within us. Now in whole of north east Sherwood is not just a name its an identity and I know the learning sanctuary will be the next big thing in the coming years.

Very nice & Dedicated Person . Nice to see how Learning Sentury is Growing . (From the time he Left Sherwood, the new principal has made it a mess , she doesn’t even know how to treat Kids & their Parents She is so Arrogant) Best of Luck Sir . We appreciate your Work .
@@SN-tb8bf Dear Parent, Firstly, stating that “Sherwood is in a mess” is, respectfully, a mischaracterization. Sherwood has consistently excelled in academics, sports, and extracurricular activities, maintaining a standard of excellence that we work hard to uphold. I assure you that there is no room for disorganization or “mess” in Sherwood. Regarding the perception of my “arrogance,” I understand that there are comparisons to Sir Tyrone, a figure whom I respect greatly. However, as the current principal, I am also dedicated to fostering Sherwood’s growth and reputation. Constant comparisons, while understandable, can be challenging. Each leader brings a unique approach, and my commitment is to serve Sherwood in a way that aligns with our evolving goals. At times, I encounter interactions where I am expected to conform to specific expectations based on age or comparisons, which can create misinterpretations. I hope for understanding as I carry out my duties with professionalism and respect. In closing, I am here to build upon Sherwood’s legacy, and I welcome constructive feedback that supports our mutual goals. Warm regards, Tasha Ann Beddoe Sawkmie Principal, Sherwood School

It's surprising to hear a principal who's been in Garo Hills for over 30 years running a school yet doesn't speak Garo.
