for those wondering about the plugins used here they are: serato sample, fabfilter pro-r, pro-q3 and volcano, valhalla supermasive and shimmer, cableguys halftime and shaperbox, soundtoys decapitor, wavefactory cassette drums, something from mininal audo, softube tape, ohmforce ohmicide, knock plugin, bass xl, kickstart2, waves MV2, unsion audio drum monkey and mangler, xln audio XO, alganaut atlas. That basically it.
Woah, he has a great philosophy behind his creative process. I enjoy how his process is not necessarily creating a track, but more so making a vibe, dressing up certain sounds, making elements shine, etc. which ultimately ends up as a track. Very informational!!
i've had one of the worst producer blocks ever... almost a whole year and i finally feel inspired to make beats again... thank you for uploading these condensed illangelo streams, they really inspired a new way of thining about making beats
Bro this man got hits in his catalog and he’s using generators. Us pions down here arguing about if it’s “morally correct”, just make music. Fuck the rules
It’s not the plug-ins that matter just be as creative as you can bro master everything that comes with Fruity loops the stock vsts / plug-ins Are capable of some cool shi Start off with a fresh method to make what you want to hear and there’s no shortcuts but to just take your production skills step by step Starting off with your Chords - Bass lines - eq - Leveling - Effects - Mix/Master And definitely Unique Arrangements to play with emotions something Rising up Or Down your choice of anything really just know what works for them is bc that’s Years of hard work and Vsts that have been worked on by them over and over if u look most of em up there all outdated and old Af but find Your Own plug-ins make your own style like Every legend before You 👌🏼💯
It just makes everything sound like its been theough a cassette… this will degrade the sound and give it character… I love it and use it all the time.. to use it you put it on anything… driving the input with add more saturation and distortion… you can put wow and flutter or your stuff aswell which will pitch bend things
Pretty it's a cassette tape emulator which would allow you to mix in attributes of the medium like tape distortion, wobble, ect. Plugins like that are great for coloring and adding texture to your sounds
@@j.money9949 I dont use drum monkey… but from the looks of it, it is sample selection plugin… it probably groups sounds that are similar and makes it easier to find the right kick, snare, rim, highhat, etc… another similiar plugin is XO by xln audio
He used the Plug-Ins to generate sounds and to change his sounds. There are a few Instrument Banks and synthesizers that are Plug-Ins. You can also use Equalizer Plug-Ins
Ngl, this dude is using some wild techniques with plugins that not many people use. Recommend checking out all of Disclosures streams then coming back to this
it's so bad 😂 i didn't come here to hate, but we not giving out passes. the C# of the vocal sample just CLASHING with the G minor chord, literally a tritone from the root G. then it descends to the IV, so that C# is just grinding against the C major...hideous. mans went from tritone to minor 2nd. thousands of dollars of gear and zero musicality. don't get me started on how overproduced and generic this whole shit is. we all have off days but this video legitimately pissed me off lmao
