@@RaduPetrici thanks! I just wish it worked! I debate for a while if I should add another green domino to topple the outer sonimod ring, but I decided not to... I really should have though xD
My favorite parts are the followup videos that analyze how, why etc etc that explains the particular aspects of the build. 2 videos on the same build. So glad I found your channels. So much fun and relaxing to watch and listen 👏👏👏👏
I really LOVE these videos where you show how you built the set-up and explain your thought process and explanation of how/why you set it up the way you did. I find it definitely helps me with my builds, utilizing the experience and knowledge you have imparted with these types of videos.
The use of various techniques was really cool, but what really impressed me was your color selections. You really did a great job with the visual design to create a work of art. 🤩Happy holidays everyone!
You know Dasher and Dancer and Prancer and Vixen, Comet and Cupid and Donner and Blitzen. But do you recall The most famous reindeer of all? Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer had a very shiny nose, And if you ever saw it, you would even say it glows. All of the other reindeer used to laugh and call him names, They never let poor Rudolph join in any reindeer games. Then one foggy Christmas Eve, Santa came to say: "Rudolph with your nose so bright, Won't you guide my sleigh tonight?" Then how the reindeer loved him, as they shouted out with glee: "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, you'll go down in history!"
I apsulutluy love the design of the Rudolph build by Domino's, it's so good i really love your design Lily, you are really the best Domino in the whole world, and i also think that's why it's called Lily Topples The World and again That's all!
The gingerbread man pieces almost looked like graham crackers set up on edge. I love this 'behind the scenes' video sharing your thought process, and detailing the pathway to this magnificent showpiece! 🎄🕯🤗
This was a beautiful project. I definitely agree with making Rudolph a shape field- it’s more interesting visually and a square field eats a ton of dominoes for the background that don’t serve much purpose. It’s relatively easy to make objects out of fields, but fields get boring so fast, so it was interesting to hear your thought process for de-fielding. That’s a topic I’ve had on my mind a lot lately. The element I found most interesting from a kinetic standpoint was the wreath. I liked how it was circular but the motion moved back on itself. And I really liked the snow colours you used to connect elements. The contrast with the other elements helps make this such a stunning project. Merry Christmas!
(9:35) That Christmas bulb ornament swinging around the post to initiate the first topple is one of the many clever aspects of this setup that I enjoyed.
Congratulations! 👏 I bet everyone in Christmas 🎄 will love this! You should do a video of 25 days of Xmas and New year's eve! It's getting close to the celebration! 🍾 ✨
Awesome! I'm glad to see this video as I was very interested in how you went about planning and building this project, you did a great job with explaining your process and it was nice to see the single take falldown at the end too :)
Christmas is the holiday I always look forward to every year This setup was so compact I don’t think I see that from you very often, make super compact setups. But you did, congrats
I liked the candle and the holly. Rudolf was very detailed, and I loved the overall setup! I admire the effort like always! (Also, when I watch the parts in time-lapse, and a structure falls on accident, I think OH NO. And then it’s built up again in a matter of seconds. But it must be hard and sad to take that time to rebuild the structure.)
thank you!! yeah it is a little sad in the moment when it falls over by accident, but I'm used to it by now. I kind of just look at it like it's part of the process. it's supposed to happen at some point. but usually it's just a small fail :)
Once again, such an amazing build. :D always love it when you do things like these, and also look forward to you playing piano again, as mentioned in the last comment. ;)
hi Lily!!!! I got your domino set for Christmas and me and my sister love it!!! vi was wondering how to build a domino structure... love ur vids, and you're so talented!!! My favorite part of the build is Rudolph, and my favorite video is when you collaborated with Mark Rober!!!!!!
Omg I love this sooo much it looks so good and I appreciate it took you 1 week and for me that would take like a year. But you put so much stuff in it and it’s just so good by the way I love your videos
Merry Christmas! Since you have your own dominoes I got some for Christmas but it’s only a few. Is h5 dominoes that are just dominoes? Ect. Thank you! Also how do you fill in those gaps? Every time I try I just topple most of it. Could you make a tutorial on field tips? Like how to topple a field with out field starters? I already have some but not a lot. Do you also have an app for your h5 community? I’ve already signed up too. Also how do you use to plan your builds? My favorite part was the the beginning on how every was split into different sections. If you can answer these questions please do!
Lily this is to tell you that I have subscribed to your newsletter and was enjoying your newsletters every single time but I am not getting any newsletter from October so can you tell me what has happened
