- On the first weekday of every month at 11:45, the Hawaiʻi Emergency Management Agency (Hi-EMA) and its county partners conduct a monthly test of the Statewide All-Hazard Outdoor Warning Siren System for Public Safety. This test is to help the counties identify any problems with the sirens and ensure their functionality. Please report any non-functional sirens to Hi-EMA or the county's EMA.

Love that echo after the wind down there! Also, iirc that Siren document from 1990s, it appears this replaced an EOWS 612. Hope this helps! :)
Sorry for not being able to record Pearl City HS this month. I will try to record it next month.
Don’t try to, there is security cameras, give permission to the pearl city HS then you’ll can record it.
@@ZacharyHappy366 Randall has recorded the Pearl City HS Modulator before. It’ll be fine if you just stand on the nearby sidewalk of Hookiekie Street.
@@MahalohaEthan808 oh ok
Dear tsunami sirens,
The hills also use as tsunami evacuation place
#Hawaiihills
That wind down must have sounded amazing in-person! Awesome recording!
Thanks!
Sounds Like It's
The Tsunami Warning!!
Try being in Hanauma Bay when they test the sirens. The whole thing rings like a bell due to its shape. Sound of my childhood though.
Why doesn't Hawaii have Whelen WPS Sirens?
They're not that popular here, unlike on the mainland.
@@ParadiseSirens Did Hawaii ever have any? If so, where?
Yes, we did have a WPS-2800-3 located at Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands. It was replaced in 2021 with an FS Modulator 3012B-C during an installation-wide upgrade.
@@ParadiseSirens What did it sound like?
No idea. There are no recordings of that siren at all available. If I had to imagine, it probably sounded like a regular ESC-864.
Do you like Green Modulators or White Modulators?
I like white-colored Modulators. They seem more pleasing to me.
@@ParadiseSirensHow?
@@Camporito25 probably because its different from what they see everyday.
@@vantaaaxAh! I see! You earned a sub! 😎
It sounds like Siratone?
She’s Healthy! I’m sure those mountains gave it some mean echos in person
It indeed did give off some mean echos
nice!
Thanks!
Hey the original is the siren of eows 612
That’s a 3012A
It's a 3024H, same cell count just twice the of drivers.

Where is the EOWS 612
Gone, scrapped.
@@ParadiseSirensWhy?
@@Camporito25 cause how there’s moving parts on the 612. It would be a cost to fix for one moving piece
