وفي مقابلة مع بي بي سي، عبرالأمير الوليد عن اعتقاده بأن المؤسسة لن تتراجع أو تنهار بسبب فضيحة التنصت.
يذكر أن الوليد يستثمر في مؤسسة مردوخ منذ 20 عاما ويملك 7 في المائة من أسهم المؤسسة، وهو بذلك ثاني أكبر مساهم فيها بعد مردوخ نفسه الذي يملك 12 في المائة من الأسهم.

I know this i've lived in saudi arabia, the saudi's have donated more money to the poor than any other and people often accuse them of having a lavish lifestyle. Just because its not on tv that doesnt mean they dont care for the poor i will say some arabs are totally spoiled in riches but most are not and thats beacuse they are religious, the current saudi king donated millions recently to gather humanitarians and social activists for conferences on world peace in sweden.
