- In this deep dive I’ll take you through everything you need to know in order to get up and running with Azure AD’s Access Reviews. This amazing set of tools is invaluable for admins who want to keep a track on who is accessing applications or members of groups or teams. Most importantly Access Reviews ensure that your users have the correct access to the correct resources in a JIT or Just in Time manner.

Great video as always Andy.
Do you know how we can do Access Reviews in Purview? For example, I was to run Quarterly access review for various roles that are available in Purview (Built-in or Custom) like eDiscovery Manager or Insider Risk Analyst.
Access Reviews in Entra cover Azure Roles but not roles that are only assignable in Purview.
You cannot yet. Watch this space!!
Very nicely explained...!! Thanx !!!
Hi, thanks for sharing... @14:20 you have mentioned that we can automate it via MS Flow or Powerautomate. Do you have a demo of it ? kindly share
Unfortunately not I’m sorry, but I will look at it in a later video if you like 👍
Great content.
Thanks I appreciate that👍😊
Just loved it!!
You have missed to add how to review the azure roles..can u pls let us know how to do it for azure roles..
In the applications review, does the option for managers of users mean the reviewers are all the manager of the users inside the group? Is there an option for the group owner?
No Managers are a field that you can add in a users account properties. Once added this build the organisation tab in Teams as welll as providing the managers option here :-)
@@AndyMaloneMVP Thanks for explaining! I also ran into the scope for all users being grayed out with a teams and groups review. I'm guessing it's a license issue.
Right after you create the review at 13:14, the review does not show up on the object it has been applied to. Do you know why? I'm still learning and this is driving me nuts! Lol. Also great video! :)
Probably a timing issue
