Thank you for this video also. I found on your UA-cam channel. Again, very informative of the layout of the zoo around the giraffe yard between the lettuce hut and bridge. The views along the walkway and the view of the small yard by the bridge. And the barn, seeing the orientation of the birth stall and large stall. It has been helpful to understand while viewing the birth cam. Curious about the blue and pink on the hooves. Thank you.
Janet, thank you so very much for being there, recording and posting this! I thoroughly enjoyed watching what is going on inside when the gate is up outside. I thought that they were "sorting" out the mother's from the others, and now I can totally understand why the pauses. Just like I suspected, but so much clearer now that I've seen your video. I think the best part of seeing Rae in with the birthing mothers is that I was watching the birth cam when Rae was there and saw her zoomies. I never could find where/how she left the birthing stall, and now I totally understand why she just suddenly disappeared! Thank you, thank you! I've subscribed and have clicked on the bell, hoping that you'll post another soon! :)
Thank you, Janet! Such a great video! I love seeing more of the giraffe and the “behind the scene” activity. Rae is still so small here.

Thanks Janet for posting on youtube . Great video :) This is the only way I get to see the Zoo and Our Mama's :)
Glad I could give you a little tour. It's an amazing compound for the giraffes.

Wonderful video Janet. Great to see the hard work of the 'traffic control' and Muzikia certainly had her eye on you didn't she, lol!
Thanks! She was quite intense!
It made for brilliant viewing, I thought she was going to try and snatch your phone at one point, lol

I will be sharing this, too!
Thanks for sharing! It is more complicated than I had realized. And it must take a lot of strength to move those gates back and forth.
Thanks for the wonderful video. Wow, compare the size of the keepers to the giraffes
HAPPY NATIONAL GIRAFFE DAY!!! CMZ and too our SWEET PENNY LANE....
This reminds me of how Cape May Zoo in Cape May N.J. looks their Giraffe area..
Thanks for sharing Janet!!!
I love Rae to death but she is such a stinker!!!!!
She is a handful! So cute, though.
Why don't they get carrots?
