Pretty good story and well narrated. A couple of times the characters did the exact opposite of what they were apparently supposed to; the guy who doesn’t use curse words cursed twice in one scene with no explanation, the lady takes a ride from a creepy stranger at night despite growing up in a rough neighborhood and knowing how to take care of herself. But other than that it was a nice story to listen to
Darn. Commercial interruptions are annoying. Often when I am listening, I am not in a position to hit the skip button and I refuse to pay extra to lose the advertisements. I will simply have to choose another book and one that is not read by AI.
A few words I can handle because obviously I'm not paying for add free either if it's a lot of ads then yeah I can understand being a little frustrated but as you say you refuse to pay for ad-free viewing so guess what you can't complain if you don't like it go listen to a different book
Depends on where you are in the world guys! Tomato tomAto. Things are pronounced differently in different places! Better than hearing Ass-fault. Ohh modern world problems. Don't listen to a book from the UK then, everything different lol. #EMBRACE DIVERSITY. The world doesn't just exist in Your bubble. cheers
WHY DO MANY WRITERs DESCRIBE A SCENE OR EVENT TO THE POINT I WANT to THROW UP - I WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE PLOT ‼️‼️ NOT THE SCENERY TO THE SMALLEST DUST SPECKLE 👿👿👿👿 2:472:47
I totally agree. It just makes you stop reading. It seems such writers do it because they have nothing else to add to the very flimsy story line. It is like they are writing a script. Sometimes it is just the first book but other times not

Its my understanding that there is no easy way to lose the commercials unless you buy a subscription to utube. The channel owner has no contol over it. @@glindathegoodwitch3385
... It had potential but honesty it was more about how messes up the character was than any kind of crime.... finding the culprit was sooooo slim and anticlimactic.
This author doesn't understand how police investigations work or the rights that citizens have. She has an fbi agent insisting that a man HAS to come with them for questioning. She says he had no choice... this is a man who isn't being detained and isn't even a true suspect and is barely a person of interest. Their so called clues to get to him and others are weak and really make little to no sense. The story line seems to have potential ( I'm a little over halfway through) but these amateur FBI agents and and their leads are ridiculous.
Amateur writing of an amateur cop. I tried to paint her as a tough girl, but she’s always fragile and shivering and crying and hiding her body. Can’t handle insults and starts bar fights while on official business. Author isn’t very descriptive and says she found every other sentence can’t finish it.
Enjoyable story. Excellent narration. No annoying screaming, crying and histrionics. Loved it. Thank you.
I loved this story . Flawed human beings trying to make a difference. It was good. Thank you.

Great narration but if she says ashfault instead of asphalt again I’m going to scream.
I so appreciate the audio books thank you for doing this.
Thanks to the author and the narrator. Good job 👍🏻 .
This book was just OK! It took a while to get into it, but I was invested, so I finished...better towards the end.
Some tough comments . I really enjoyed it ! From start to finish ❤
This is a great book
Excellent adventure. Great narrator, and loved the story. Thanks for the upload.

My son was a deputy sheriff in Colorado. I used to go ride with him or his backup. I was studying law in college at the time. 😮
Good book. Difficult listening to the pronunciation of the word “ASPHALT”. Not pronounced ASHPHALT!
Omg! YES!
It made me cringe everytime I figured I was being too critical so glad I was not the only one

Great enjoyed it!
Could have enjoyed if not for so many commercial interruptions! Plenty of good books without the annoying ads.

No such thing as "dust speckle".

yes there is 🙄
Thank you👍
Good story. Thanks
Thanks for sharing.
A shame that I am midway and the plot is obscured by the internal angst of the protagonist. I give up.

Who was first? Ava Strong or Mary Stone with the Winter series? It’s like a pattern for a female fbi agent angst mystery series. 😢

SO LET IT BE 🎉
Please lose the commercial interruptions. I had to quit after 3 interruptions within 10 minutes.

Why am I hearing more and more audiobook narrators say “tap, tap”?!
Not sure about this

👍✅💯
Absolute awful..if you you get i to "Tastey" god help you!
Narrator sounds like a native English speaker, but days ashfault instead of assfault for asphalt. Went from quirky to annoying really quickly.
It's a Canadian pronunciation. I found it annoying as well.
Man/ woman ?
